Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Sycamore Township

There was nobody ahead of me in line at 6pm. When the lady called for a male employee he mumbled 'Jesup Christ' (I had 2 giants). Then the lady rang up my order well the guy was slicing the meat for the subs. I ordered 1 with extra meat and once I paid I walked back over to the guy slicing the meat. I had to correct him on the sandwiches because he was not slicing double meat on 1 sub. Well he was making the subs he kept sighing. Once my subs were made and cut I noticed he used the knife he just used to cut my sandwiches with to bat a sharpie that was in his way. They were also completely out of mayonnaise. Ordered the grilled portabella mushroom & swiss online for pick up! It used to be a great vegetarian option. But mine came with lots of steak today!

Called the store just to give them a heads up (the sandwich was good, just was not expecting the meat). The guy that picked up said they don’t sell the grilled portabella mushroom & swiss sub anymore and that they need to remove it off their online ordering option? It seemed like I wasn’t the only one who called about it recently, he went right into his “I will relay your concerns to the manager” spiel before I got the chance to say I liked it. Oh well.

My coworker and I went here for lunch. We both ordered regular 17's. My sandwich was ready in five minutes, however, my coworkers was never started. I finished my meal and we waited another five minutes for his food. After 20 minutes and a lunch break with no lunch my coworker asked for a refund and we left. As well the restraunt felt dirty and poorly lit. In addition the employees did not seem to care about their appearance or providing even mediocre customer service.
