I want to start by saying that the employees of this location were incredibly pleasant and kind. It wasn't busy at all at the time of my visit, and they were making a couple orders and keeping the place spotless when I arrived. Wonderful people and the atmosphere was great. My complaint was with the product. I placed an online order and was thrilled at how fast it was done, but when I tasted my order, I figured out why. I ordered a Frappuccino, and I don't alter anything at all about the order except that I have them add an additional topping that doesn't ordinarily come with that particular drink (in addition to the topping that does come with it). Not only did it not have that topping, it didn't have any at all. I don't usually like to bug staff over things that small, but this drink had absolutely no flavor at all. It tasted like unsweetened cream anda little bit of blended ice. I've never encountered that in a Starbucks beverage before. The other drink in my order was just a hot black coffee that was supposed to have vanilla in it, and that coffee tasted watery and coppery, and I'm not sure there was any vanilla at all. I genuinely hate complaining about fluke bad orders, especially at this time of the year in such a high traffic, demanding area like Kenwood, but Starbucks is a little too expensive to be delivering product like that. Baristas were great, so I'm hesitant to pin it on them, but based on other reviews, I have to wonder if they're being asked to...
Read moreI've only been to this particular location twice, and my second visit was enough to make me say I'll probably never go back. Their drive-thru is an absolute mess due to being a single lane that takes you into both the drive-thru (which is typically backed up to Montgomery Road between 7a-10a) and into their itty bitty parking lot. The first visit wasn't terrible, staff was friendly, but the way their drive-thru wraps around their building, it's a tight fit for bigger vehicles (I drive a cargo van due to work.) This second visit was horrendous when I couldn't even get into the parking lot for 20 minutes and ended up picking up my drinks 30 minutes after placing a mobile order. I tried to call and address the situation because my drinks looked like liquified garbage poured into a cup at this point and the person only said to expect a wait during that time and most people walk in to pick up their orders. After trying to explain that I couldn't simply walk in because I couldn't even get into the parking lot, I realized the person either wasn't listening or didn't care enough to help in my situation. Thanks for your awful customer service, guy, and may you never be put into a similar position where the person you want to help you doesn't pay you two cents worth...
Read moreMy experience at 7896 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236 has been truly discouraging. The attention I received was terrible; The employees showed neither courtesy nor attention to customers, which is unacceptable in any establishment. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
The most worrying thing is the quality of the products served in this store. Unfortunately, I can't say anything good about it. Recently, I bought two watered-down, bad hot coffees that, to be honest, looked more like dirty water than drinkable. To make matters worse, I ordered a chocolate croissant that was clearly past its freshness date; It was so old that it felt hard and tasted stale. This is simply unacceptable.
The most frustrating thing is that it seems that the franchisee does not bother to test the products offered in this store before serving them to customers. This shows a lack of concern for quality and customer service. Given this experience, I can't give them even a single star. Frankly, they don't deserve it.
I sincerely hope that you take these comments into account and work to improve both the quality of the products and the attitude of your staff. It is unfortunate that quality and good service is being lost in a place that should...
