WORST. FAST. FOOD. EXPERIENCE. EVER. EVER!!!!! Arrived in drive thru line at 6:25pm to find several cars in front of us (this is supposed to be FAST food, right?). Drive thru line moves at a snail's pace (this is supposed to be FAST food, right?). Want to get out but the cars are packed so tightly that I can't leave the line... I'm trapped... Finally hit the menu board at 6:55pm after watching and listening to the three or four cars in front of me be placed "on hold" at the menu board after waiting in silence for a few minutes, and they stayed on hold for at least a few minutes per car each thereafter (this is supposed to be FAST food, right?). I order two homestyle chicken sandwiches and slowly start to make my way up to the delivery window, arriving there at about 7:05 pm (this is supposed to be FAST food, right?). I arrived at the drive-thru window only to be told by the shift supervisor that the patron in front of me had decided upon arriving at the drive-thru delivery window that she wanted to add on two homestyle chicken sandwiches to her order, so the restaurant gave the homestyle chicken sandwiches that I had ordered to the customer in front of me and asked me to pull forward and park while they "finished cooking" the replacement sandwiches that they had "started cooking" for me. The shift supervisor told me that they would have them out in 3 minutes. This was at 7:08 p.m. (this is supposed to be FAST food, right?). I pulled forward and after nothing came out, finally at a little after 7:25 PM, I went into the store and asked where my food was. The shift supervisor promptly blamed it on her staff and said that they had repeatedly told her that they had taken the food out to me. This was a ridiculous excuse on her part since if I had had my food there was no way that I was going to continue to stay parked next to the curb, in plain sight of the drive-thru window (this is supposed to be FAST food, right?). The supervisor did refund my money and provide me with the sandwiches after another few minutes and kept giving out backhanded apologies, throwing her crew under the bus the whole time that we were interacting. I have had slow service at Wendy's before, but this one absolutely took the cake and I don't think I will be back there again, at least to that location, anytime soon, if ever. Over 1 hour to get two chicken sandwiches. Unbelievable! By the way, it was not a case of the restaurant's being understaffed. They had plenty of people working in the kitchen and out at the registers and in the drive-thru. Something was seriously wrong their last Friday night, because there were all kinds of people sitting out in the dining room without food as well, who were as dismayed and irritated by the whole thing as I was, if not more so.

Read moreThis location is in desperate need of some adult supervision. I generally avoid this location at all cost, but tonight the location in Clearfield that we usually go to was having an issue with something and wasn't able to take any orders. So I was forced to go to "high school Wendys".
I don't usually have the motivation to write a review because by the time I've eaten I usually just forget about it, but the experience has been so consistently poor that I just have to write this in hopes that the franchise owner or a regional manager might read this and make an unannounced visit to the drive thru and then set things right for the sake of the Wendys brand.
This location is clearly run entirely by high school kids, which I'm usually ok with because Wendys is probably a good fit for a first job in high school, but when the whole crew is kids everything goes south fast.
Typically, there are at least 3-4 things incorrect about our orders. Some of them are minor and I don't mind as much but others drive me crazy. Here's a few from tonight: They lied about their freestyle soda machine not working. This is the one that bugged me enough to prompt this review. How do I know they were lying? Because they've consistently done it every time I order a diet cherry Dr. Pepper and on one visit I questioned them about it and was told that they couldn't do freestyle drinks because it meant that someone had to walk into the dining room to fill the drink. I told them that is absolutely what I expected them to do and they did it. They don't have a freestyle machine back by the drive thru window, so they just tell you it doesn't work so you'll pick something else. Pure laziness! Asked for Sweet and Sour sauce with the three sets of nuggets ordered, received no sauce (kind of minor issue, frustrating though) No straws (minor issue) Drive thru line around the building, not their fault for being busy, but they were incredibly slow Wrong order total when trying to pay, they mixed in another order and with the orders out of order they just couldn't function When you pull up to the window, there are a minimum of three kids all seemingly just standing around in that area, one with his mask beneath his nose and one with his mask pulled down like a chin diaper.
I will continue to drive past this Wendys location to go to the one in Clearfield, but please, for the sake of your restaurant, get at least one...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this location. It seems like a major issue is stemming from poor management, specifically the general manager Will not ordering enough supplies. Tonight, I received three Baconators with barely a piece of bacon on them—I've had Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers with more bacon. On top of that, only one single beef patty, they used shredded cheese instead of proper slice and half an order of fries. When I called to address the issue, I spoke with kayla, who was polite and professional. I addressed the issue of the fries inside with the manager, Ashton, he seemed frustrated and emotionless. I guess he just had food thrown at him from a previous customer. I didn't even get to the real disappointment until I got home. From what Tayla said, when I called, I understand he may have been dealing with multiple upset customers, this all seems to be a ripple effect of poor management— from not ordering enough supplies and not scheduling enough help.
What concerns me even more is that I’ve had issues with this location in the past, which is why it took me so long to come back. They didn't answer the phone when I called last time. It makes me wonder if this has been an ongoing problem or just a coincidence. Either way, we paid full price for our meals and should be receiving what we ordered.
If this is due to poor budgeting or mismanagement, it’s unfair to both employees and customers. When employees are put in a tough position, it creates a negative experience for customers, which in turn hurts the business. Corporate may need to step in, I'm honestly not sure how this can get any worse.
I want to support local businesses, but I also expect basic quality and service and food. I hope these issues are...
