I had high hopes for this one. I was going to place an online order which rang up at 12 bucks and change but on second thought I didn’t want to type in all my credit card info into an unfamiliar website so I called. When I called my order was 14 and change for the same sub sandwich. I just chalked it up to that they probably haven’t updated their online ordering system in a while and inflation. No huge deal. When placing my order, I thought the guy on the phone got disconnected or hung up on me because all sound cut off but I think he just covered the receiver to tell the kitchen my order? A little strange but at least I realized it before I hung up. 😅He also was a bit curt. They seemed young and might need a little training on phone etiquette. I mean we’re living in a texting generation now so that is understandable for young 20 somethings! When I walked in to Abella the guy in the back stared at me intensely through the cut out window, but said nothing. A little awkward. The other guy in front then noticed me and warmly greeted me “Welcome to Abella!”. Abella has a very sweet ambiance. It’s what you envision of a classic pizza parlor. Very nostalgic! I was pretty disappointed with the size of the sub and quality of the bread. I will say the cheese was high quality and the veggies were very fresh. I think I looked at too many pictures on google and got my hopes up. So I’m posting my own picture with a pen for scale. After tipping 4 bucks 18 dollars seems a bit pricy for this small sub, even though I did enjoy it! I’ll go back to getting my subs from Slice of Life. It’s just such a good deal for the price and massive sub you get.

The pizza was pretty good, the sauce wasn't too spicy, nor too weak, the proportions of ingredients were generally well balanced, the quality of the ingredients was very good, my only complaint is that the toppings didn't go close enough to the edge, so for a small size pizza, about 1/3 to 1/4 of it is all dough from the crust. It wouldn't be so bad on a larger pizza. As far as service: I stood around the front area for a several minutes in hopes that someone in the back would look to the front to see me. At the time I first came in, I was the only customer. Finally someone did see me, and she helped me right away. She was new, but very courteous. After I made my order, she brought me a plate and silverware to my table, and brought me my water. After the pizza was done, and I received my order, nobody came to my table again after that. The water glass was very small, and I had to stand in view of people in the back again so people could see me so I could get a refill. After I was done eating my pizza, I was hoping to get another water refill, but nobody was around. I think my main complaint would be that staff doesn't check the front area enough. Once they know a customer needs something, they're right there, but they need to go to the eating area more often.

I found not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 STRANDS OF HAIR IN MY PIZZA UNDER THE SAUCE I go to sota I went to get something to eat and found hair in my food they only gave me the money I spent on the pizza but I feel I should get more compensation for there mistake a gross one. Edit to what the owner said I won’t be coming back I wasn’t planning on u guys rushed me and I was trying to talk and ask for a full refund and also u did not give me a little more than for the refund the price was 6$ with tax I have the receipt I’m looking at it and u gave me 5$ I will not be coming back after u guys had HAIR in ur pizza sauce and I will stay with this review even if it was good service I still have the right to complain about hair in my food and just because u guys did not see more when I gave it to u does not dismiss the fact that I pulled that much hair out of my mouth after take more bites of my pizza slice!! And shame on u treating a 14 year old kid like this I expect better from an adult

Only writing this so people know what they’re paying for... Yes the pizza is really good.

Though, this was %100 the worst I have EVER been treated at a job!!!

First, delivery drivers are NOT paid A DIME extra than minimum wage for mileage, usage of your car, nothing. They use your car and gas for free. The owners claim that your tips balance this out but that’s not at all true, there is not even delivery charge. Meanwhile, the owners will come in the kitchen to take their brand new coach bag or Nike shoes out of the box. And don’t forget they drive a brand new Lexus.

It’s not just the wage... I have never been more depressed and miserable while working here. I was screamed at in my face after 1 week. No joke. There is absolutely no training. You’re just expected to know how to do things and catch onto their methods right away, if not, you’re a stupid idiot and they WILL make you feel that way. The owner yells at you, makes accusations, changes your shifts without telling you and then penalizes you for it, BLATANTLY takes favorites. The owners and management will talk badly about anyone and everyone whether they’re at home or 10 feet away in the restaurant and think you can’t hear. They will and DO let people go with NO notice and for no good reason that has been previously discussed with you.

10 people, yes 10, quit or were let go in 3 months I worked here.

They buy gifts to try to make people stay and even both of the male managers consistently made remarks about female workers being cute, attractive, etc. Any other previous employee would vouch for these statements I know that. All around there seems to be absolutely no ethical standards or compassion for their employees so I’d just like people to know what their money...

Hello!I just moved here about week ago, and thought I just try some of the local pizza. Pizza is one of my favorites food, and you would think almost every restaurant who sells pizza would know how to make it right? Wrong! I heard about this place through contacts and reading its' review which lead me towards trying this place out. When I called today to ask for a deliver of a medium size pizza with extra cheese and sausage, the guy a who answered seemed a little reluctant to even serve me. After handling payment and other inquries, the guy who answered told me that it was going to be about a 45 minute wait before I could get the pizza that I ordered. So now 55 minutes have passed until the delivery guy arrives with my order. After I say thanks I begin to open the box to only find that half of my pizza had no cheese and meat. To add on to that when I tried to pick up a slice that had the meat and cheese on it, the cheese and meat just slipped right off. Now, I'm a flustered. So I calmly call back to tell them the issue at hand. The lady who answered talked with her manager and only told me that my options at that point was to get half off on my next purchase or to receive half of my money back from this order. Feeling like there was no other way to handle this situation without incident, I just chose to get half of my money back. However, I not be going back...
