If I could give them 0 stars I would!! I came in via drive thru on 01/15/2024 and ordered 2 cheesy bites and a large fry. Somehow my order came to me smelling AWFUL!! Like garbage. I donât know if they havenât cleaned their kitchen, their oil, or what? All I know is it smelled too sketchy to eat. I called the next day on 01/16/2024 because I have a babygirl I have to take care of, and the guy told me they would refund me as long as I had the food and the expeditor ticket that was in the bag. They never gave me a receipt. I couldnât come back until 01/18/2024 because my babygirl got really sick so when I came back on the 18th the lady there working at night told me that she couldnât refund me and that Iâd have to come back the next day to talk to her manager. I came back on 01/19/2024 (which for me is today) and they told me that they wouldnât refund me. I told them I was told they would refund me as long as I still had the food and the expeditor ticket because they never gave me the receipt. The girl had to call her manager and wa speaking with her on the phone while speaking to me in the drive thru. She was about to go ahead and give me the refund but I didnât have the receipt because they never gave it to me. So she said âmaâam I cannot give you a refund then. If you donât have your receipt theirs nothing I can do.â I explained how I was told otherwise and she told me that âthat doesnât matterâ.
Very improper business protocols here! Very awful customer service! And very unclean restaurant. Someone should come by and check their kitchen and building to make sure itâs up to code because the food didnât smell normal. I ended up going to another Burger King in North Tacoma to make sure I wasnât smelling things & ordered the exact same food & that food came back smelling normal, exactly how itâs supposed to smell. Iâve never had this issue with a fast food restaurant not refunding me for THEIR mistake! Thatâs ridiculous! Granted it was only $11.88 but still, itâs the disservice thatâs the issue.
It wouldnât have been as big of a deal if they told me from the get they couldnât refund me. But to tell me they would on the phone and then to drive all the way over here and have them tell me they wonât in person, TWO TIMES, was a waste of my time and gas....
   Read moreThe food was okay you know it was typical Burger King the drive-thru line was very very slow I don't know if they had staffing issues that day or just the process of greeting the customer taking the customers order and having them pull forward was just taking unusually long of course I'd never been to this location before I don't care for this part of town but I was with a anyway I don't normally go to this particular Burger King but I've noticed that Burger King has a hole has really come down they just seem to have a lot of problems either with their their grills or their fried thing or whatever it is that cooks the burgers lot of times it's down very mechanical mundane voices greeting you and taking your order the food is lukewarm now the fries were good I will give them that the fries were fresh and crispy which I love but you know what do I expect really for fast food I think I'm probably being a little too critical I know they're not paying their people hardly anything and it's and it's fast food it's it's not like home they did okay the prices were good I got a Whopper for $2 and some regular burgers for a dollar using their app I love the app get the best deals and I believe they give you yeah they give you points now too so you can get free stuff so I mean it was other than the slowness it was average.

   Read moreVery inconsistent here. There is an older lady with dirty blonde hair that is very sweet, does well under pressure, and is overall great. There are times where the waits are long but I know that going in so I have the patience. However recently I had a situation that was really off putting. There was a younger black woman working who helped get us our order, it was multiple breakfast combos. One in particular was a croissant one. All of the sandwiches (4 of the them) and hash browns were shoved in the same bag, with the croissant being at the very bottom. The bag was overly full. When we got home, our croissant was less than an inch thick from being squished.
So we brought it back, they had the lobby doors locked (it was during reasonable business hours), and so we waited through the drive thru again. When we explained the situation, she said no and told us to pull through. She took the sandwich back and said "no we don't do that here" and started to see about re making it. She at one point during the wait, opened the drive thru window to say that it looked like someone sat on it? Not sure what the purpose of that statement was. All we wanted was a new sandwich and we weren't rude either.
