IHOP — Restaurant in Tacoma

This is one of the worst breakfast experiences I've had in the last two years. I came with my family - four of us - to have breakfast as usual. And then the nightmare began. The place was less than half empty, so I can't blame it on the fact that they were fully booked, although I really wanted to. They simply FORGOT ABOUT us from the start. They sat us at a table with an empty teapot, and when we asked to clear it, they said that this should be the case at all tables (spoiler, this was not the case at any table except ours). We sat waiting for the menu for a decent amount of time, after which we had to call the waitress ourselves, who decided not to honor us with her presence right away. But that's okay, it's not even half the problem. We ordered four meat dishes, which took more than twenty minutes to bring to us (with the place not fully booked), and they FORGOT to include one of the dishes (tomato soup) in the bill, which is why I reminded them twice about my soup. The dishes were full of variety - burnt meat, raw onions, tons of oil, spoiled broccoli, uncooked, but quickly boiled mashed potatoes in lumps. And in my dish they added burnt bread, which was not part of the dish. A compliment from the chef, as I understand it) This was the last time we came to this cafe. Do you want to ruin your mood from the very morning? Your choice is this place.

P.s. Oh yes, I forgot to mention, when the coffee we ordered was brought to us, it was simply thrown on the table, which caused my father to wipe it off the table. Was the waitress who did this bothered at all? Did she apologize or at least offer more napkins to clean up her own mistake? The question is, of...

This is my first time here and I am upset choosing this place to eat with my family who came to visit us. We only pick this place since its close to Chambers bay. The place is dirty, bad customer service and the server is just rude. We waited for good 20mins as we were told they will clean up the place. The server walk us to our table and its not clean. foods crumbs on the floor, it's not a good view seeing we have children with us, they did not atleast get it sweep up. The server name kaylee taking our orders she is just rude. Her tone and body langauge tells us that she don't want to be there. No friendly welcoming smile, no communication, no suggestions on any of the menu as we question about any menu she look annoyed and angry showa in her tone. She just took our order and never come back. She didn't check up on us if we needed any refill or creamer, sauce that we really been waiting for. this place is dead empty! I notice they gather around i the back chatting. I have to wave down another worker who was talking about supervowl. I ask if he can please refill my kids drinks. He didn't ask how many how many that needs refill or if we want need anything. Server came back just to place the reciepts and ask if we need anything. My son who been asking her twice for a refill and she keep saying be right back. The table next to us with a toddler I feel bad for them. They have been waiting for 30minutes since they were seated no drinks were served. this is not a good place go...

So we go in to have breakfast, but end up ordering to go because it’s packed and there’s no one wearing masks and everyone is damn near sitting on top of each other while they have a whole area not being used. So the woman says our order would take 15mins. 35 mins later I ask what the hold up is since multiple parties have come and gone. She doesn’t know anything she seems completely lost. Meanwhile, you have these other woman in their personal cell phones being hella loud and ignorant while the entire waiting room can hear this conversation. The place was a complete disarray. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. However it is Sunday morning (very busy clearly) so as we’re waiting the girl comes and grabs a dirty paper towel that’s wet and has been sitting in the corner and starts wiping the counter (like nobody has ever shown her how to clean) it was just a complete mess. Not to mention I told the woman our order 3x and it still came out wrong. We ended up splitting one meal and throwing the other away due to allergies (since they couldn’t get it right and we didn’t wanna wait 40 more mins for a new omelet) this place used to be great now it’s just pretty sad. I felt dirty just sitting in there they didn’t even have sanitizer, they had customer walking in behind the counters and stuff. Just really bad especially with the way the world...
