Worst Service Ever. We walked in and the waitress greeted us after we sat down in the oddly lit restaurant. Some say it has charm but it's really just a scatter of posters on an ugly white wall. We ordered our meal and waited. 2 other groups waltzed in much after us and about 15 minutes after their orders, they had their food. We waited for over 1 hour, and still no food. We had ordered fries as a starter, but they had never even brought them to us! They came back once during the long span to bring us back more water. Finally some of the meals were brought out, and they managed to get one wrong! We told the waitress we had not ordered the TV dinner but one of the burgers from the menu, which she herself had suggested to us. She didn't even apologize. She just said "I could've sworn you ordered that" when we clearly saw her write down EACH of our orders. She picked up the tv dinner and asked if we wanted them to start making the burger. Of course not! We had already waited over an hour for fries and our meals, which were still not here! We told her no and she walked away. After finally finishing all our meals, she came back with a burger from someone else's order! She apologized, but we were honestly to hungry to complain. The food was decent, which I would in most cases give a pass, but a sandwich is $16 and you have to wait over an hour for a meal when the cafe is not even half full. Sadly, Google doesn't let you rate less than one star. (DO NOT go to this overpriced, ugly and...
Read moreI really wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars because the food is absolutely phenomenal, but the service ruined it for me. I received an email telling me that my pickup order was ready, so I made my way to the pickup window. I know the lady in the restaurant saw me standing at the window, and I thought it was a bit weird that I felt like she was intentially making me wait longer, but I was excited about the dinner I was about to have so I wasnt too concerned about waiting a couple extra minutes. The lady finally made her way to the window, slid it open, and proceeded to yell at me about door dash and how shes told us we have to wait and she just went off on me. I dont fully remember what all she was yelling because I was so taken aback. I hadnt knocked on the window, I wasnt trying to hurry her up, I was just standing where the pickup line starts waiting on my food. I managed to get out "Im so sorry. I got an email saying it was ready." The lady got wide eyed and asked if I was a door dash driver. I told her no i had just ordered my food from the website and her whole mood CHANGED instantly. She was immediately apologizing and smiling. I tried to smile back and I politely took my food that was waiting by the window the whole time. I made it to my car and burst into tears. My food was delicious but it didnt make up for unfairly getting yelled at. I wont be returning here. Not worth the bad...
Read moreThis place is way overrated. After my experience, I felt like they must discriminate here or else there is no way it could have such a good rating.
The food taste is a good 4 stars, I'll give it that.
The service, price, portion size, and atmosphere are all 1-3 stars.
The service was abysmal, less than 1 star. I walk in and can see the waiter playing on his phone 10 ft away, nobody greets me or even makes eye contact. Maybe it was my race, I dunno. I was tempted to leave at that point but decided to look over the menu. After looking over the menu for a good 5-10 and many eye contact attempts, the cook comes out from the kitchen and tells the waiter to take my order still without greeting me. The waiter comes over and is like "What do you want?" I was in a positive mood and really wanted to try the food so I decided not to leave. After a good 25+ minutes waiting with no water offered or anything, my to-go wrap was brought out. Took my credit card and after 5-10 more minutes of helping other people, finally brings my receipt to sign. No tip for you!
Things were priced as if I were in downtown Seattle or something. Barely anything was under $10. Their milkshakes are nearly $10!
Portion size was small, especially for the price.
Atmosphere was nothing special.
Will probably not go back here but I may try Plum Bistro in Seattle. Maybe the owner actually works at and cares for...
