My family and I stopped here just a few minutes ago, before heading home (as we were here visiting from Orlando for Thanksgiving). We stopped to get some OJ and a few donuts, we waited in the LONG line patiently, when my husband got to the order screen there were vehicles in front of him still, so he was just stopped there, no one in that time greeted him or asked him to politely wait, so when the cars moved, without thinking about it, he pulled forward. As soon as we pulled forward someome came on the speaker and helped the person behind us. When we got to the window my husband told the lady that he accidentally pulled forward if she could take his order and she told him he would have to go all the way around, get back in line because they were busy, and she could not take the order at the window. She said it would hold up her line (even though we had to wait a LONG time anyway to get to the ordering screen and then to the window). My husband said he just wanted a couple of orange juices and she told him she could not help him. She said she was already busy and she could not take his order at the window. I wonder if this is common at this place. Is this a corporate KK rule or just this KK's rule at the discretion of the manager or service personnel? I just don't understand why would we want to make the long line all over again for Krispy Kreme for orange juice and a couple of donuts??? There's McDonald's who sells OJ, there's Starbucks, there's Dunkin 🍩, just to name a few.. She refused him service at the window- which we have NEVER experienced in our entire lives. Maybe she was overwhelmed, maybe she just didn't want to be inconvenienced, even though, us having to wait in a long line was already an inconvenience to begin with, not being addressed at all, not even to tell us they would be right with us, was already an inconvenience. She could've taken our order and asked us to pull over AS ALL FAST FOOD places with drive thrus have done in the past. How can a fast food place be ok with giving you slow service because they're busy, not apologizing for your wait, but feeling like they don't have to go out of their way to serve you because you made the mistake of passing their ordering screen? Who does that? I told my husband to just go because he was actually already in a lot of pain from spraining his ankle the day before and we were just trying to have some bf before stopping at an urgent care to then head home. He had a lot on his mind to then be treated with the poorest customer service ever. We visit Tallahassee alot because my in laws live here, I will be sure to tell all my family and friends to avoid this Krispy Kreme at all cost. My husband is a KK fan, it's the only reason why I go. I think after this experience he may never come back, as customer service is super important to him. How you treat people... matters. If it weren't for the lovers of Krispy Kreme - it wouldn't be in business and the people who work there - wouldn't have a job. Maybe better training is in order. Seriously, just a few OJ's and some donuts, she could've taken that order, we weren't skipping in line, we made the line, like everyone else. Maybe you can hire more people who are as compassionate to the people they serve as the people they "serve" or "don't serve" are to them when they aren't managing their time or workload efficiently, and they are making us wait forever and a day to get our orders in. Avoid this place, go to another one IF you MUST go to Krispy K. Go to the one down the road or something, not here, they have bad...

There comes a time when each one of us must come to terms with the quintessential American pastry.
Behold, the doughnut (or - for those with the penchant for brevity, then "donut").
During undergrad years, I frequented the 24-hour Krispy Kreme on W. Tennessee. It was a classic diner-layout. wraparound counter, real ceramic Krispy Kreme cups (I still have one), and in general, a much saltier atmosphere that welcomed those without homes in the wee hours of the morning - provided they had the money for a coffee and perhaps a doughnut.
Today - The Krispy Kreme just down the street from us is a gleaming beacon for amateurs and cognoscenti (of doughnuts) alike. LITERALLY! - The neon beacon curbside announces when hot-glazed doughnuts are in production. Furthermore, there's an APP that sets off alarms based on one's location, directing them to the nearest hot-glazed doughnuts. I know...
This Krispy Kreme is spotless. Seriously. I've not been to it once when the tables weren't wiped down, the stainless steel didn't shine, and the employees weren't anything but courteous, friendly and professional. I've occasionally gone through the drive-through for a quick coffee and I've always experienced an employee who came across as though they owned the place - concerned about my utmost satisfaction. Seriously.
This particular Krispy Kreme is conveniently located at the corner of Park and Magnolia. You know you're at the right one when you see a green "mobile billboard" truck parked in the parking lot which apparently doubles as a delivery van. It's a peculiar sight, but I suspect the proprietor got a great deal on it.
There's one thing I don't like about this (or any) Krispy Kreme, and I have a parallel dislike for Indian restaurants as well: It's all fun & games when you're inside, having your way with the doughnuts - but once you leave, your clothes will betray where you've been. You will smell of fried batter until you remove the clothes and perhaps even shampoo your hair.
Nonetheless, it's the place to go for the...
Read moreI placed an order online a day prior, next day I receive a text message that I need to cancel the order because DoorDash is unable to wait for the order to be fulfilled at 6:30 in the morning. I let the individual know by the same text back that they should contact their supervisor as the item is already paid for. I then get an email saying that DoorDash canceled my order despite that I ordered the item through the Krispy Kreme website and paid Krispy Kreme directly. The only contact number I had was to Krispy Kreme of which I contacted, and they said the delivery driver had already left. The machine was down And they may not be able to have the item to me until an hour later. I then repeatedly get messages by text and email that my order was going to be delivered and canceled back to back and that I needed to contact Krispy Kreme of which I did and told them that I would come pick up my order because it appears as though it’s not going to get delivered. I go pick up my item and let them know that they would need to pay me back for the item not being delivered as I paid $3.99 for a delivery fee and seven dollars for a tip for an item that never got delivered. The manager on duty said that they would be unable to do that and that I would need to come back at a later time pending when their general manager was in the building. I told them because they had my ticket number and phone number to give me a call back. I never received a call back, I completed a survey online never got contacted and emailed Krispy Kreme directly and never got a response. It has been a solid week now. At this time it appears as though ordering online led to me losing $11 for an item I ordered, requested delivery and had to pick up myself. We can be sure I will never order online with delivery from them again and for reference this was order number....
