Rock N Roll Sushi — Restaurant in Tallahassee

Very disgusted with my most recent and probably last visit at Rock n Roll Sushi on Magnolia. I placed an order online totaling over $50 and picked it up. Bob assisted me and was fantastic. Once I got home, I realized one of the sushi rolls included the spicy sriracha sauce and another sauce drizzled on top which should not have been. But no problem, I then called in to specify what I wanted to make sure that it would be prepared correctly and even advised I would keep the incorrect one and pay for a new one.

Bob took my order & stated that it would be ready in 15-20 min. I waited over 20 mins and came in to get my order. Unfortunately, Bob left, and all the common sense and customer service left as well. A young cashier greeted me, and I gave my name. I was advised my food was not ready and it would be another 10-15 more minutes. The meal I was waiting for just so happened to be for my pregnant sister that I was taking to the airport. I advised that I just placed a large order and one of the rolls was incorrectly made and told over the phone it would be ready. I went outside, came back in and it was not ready. I advised I was headed to the airport and would have to leave soon if it was not ready. I was advised to wait another 10 minutes. The preparers were advised they have a live long-time customer here who placed her order before the online orders (Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc.) and 2 preparers both answered it will be ready soon. Well fast forward to 50 minutes after I placed by order via phone, I was advised that AFTER I placed my order there were several online orders that come in and took priority.

No sense of urgency, no customer service, no service handling, whatsoever. I am assuming that Bob is a well-seasoned manager and that once his shift is complete the place is run with no common sense. My 3rd time coming I was advised it was not ready... STILL and the cashiers were more than happy to cancel my order. There are too many sushi restaurants in Tallahassee to spend $50+ and wanting.. begging to spend another $15 to be treated this way. The entire team needs coaching and refreshers. Rock & Roll Sushi in Tallahassee offers a fun and lively dining experience. The ambiance is definitely a highlight, creating a nice atmosphere to enjoy a meal. We also appreciated the practical aspects like plenty of parking and the convenience of a bar area. The unexpected touch of an LED mirror light in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise! However, the real stars of the show for us were the Crab Wontons. These were, without a doubt, the best part of our meal. The filling was delicious, and the accompanying sauce was fantastic, perfectly complementing the crispy wontons. We highly recommend starting your meal with these! On the other hand, the fried rice wasn't our favorite. While it wasn't bad, it lacked the flavor and texture we typically look for in fried rice. Despite this, the excellent customer service we received truly elevated our experience. Our waitress, Chandler, was outstanding. She had a very good attitude, was genuinely happy to assist with our questions and requests, and was attentive throughout our meal. Her positive demeanor made a significant difference. Overall, Rock & Roll Sushi offers a decent dining experience with some definite high points. The Crab Wontons are a must-try, and the ambiance and service, especially from Chandler, are commendable. Ok so I took my daughter here to eat some real food today since she just got released from the hospital after 4 days..

This was our first time here and let me tell you...it did not disappoint. I'm not gone lie I typically hate sushi but since I tried my co workers sushi at work the day before I decided to go....

The atmosphere was electric..I loved walking in and seeing all the rock n roll stuff...And the hard rock music..lol

We walked in and was immediately greeted and seated. Our server Rachel was excellent she gave us a great breakdown of the menu and little tips and tidbits of information about the food. She told us that if we see a red 🤘 sign next to a menu item that means it's VERY POPULAR! I thought that was super cool.

We ordered Miso Soup 🍲, seaweed salad, chicken hibachi, a Crawfish Roll(cooked), and Deep fried Cheesecake! 😋 with sweet tea. ( The sweet tea is EXTRA sweet so beware..lol it tastes like it's made with pure cane sugar or syrup....it was Delicious to us!)

Everything was soooo good...We had a very nice experience ..Ohh yeah the Bathroom has a HUGE TV in it! And it's a Single bathroom...One for the ladies 🚺 one for the Men ( I posted a video of it also..lol)
