Place is fun when famous DJ's are in town! Bartenders aren't the most pro at making drinks though. Paid $20 for a bacardi bucket that had no more than 2 shots of rum in it and mostly all just soda, had too much ice and wasnt even filled up all the way. Feel it had to do with me not being recognized by the bartender as one of his "fraternity brothers" cause yes this bar is all college students run by college students and they seem to have a very tight circle here. So you may be looked at as an outcast and given negative attitude and they may not care much about giving you good service at the bar unless they actually know you as an FSU student, even at the entrance the staff looks at you a certain way. Non-traditional student here, 28 years old who goes to TCC and transferring to FSU soon. Have also met many great people here though and have made some great friends and they have cheap drinks so overall it's not a bad spot! I am 25 and past my party phase. I went to support a friend and paid the 10 dollar cover. I had one Vodka lime and tonic and split two hi-noons with a friend. I have chronic heart burn and the Hi-noons triggered my heart burn. I excused myself from my friends and walked over to the bouncer. I explained that I had chronic heart burn and that I usually try to make myself burp. He said to go ahead and do so over the trashcan, so I did. Next thing I know, another bouncer is kicking me out for 'puking'. I tell him that I spoke to the bouncer before and that he was okay with me making myself burp. I also told him to check the trash can which would show no signs of throw up. They said that they still had to kick me out because it appeared like I may have been sick. I visited this venue on Friday night, 1/14/2025. I arrived at around 1:00AM, just wanted to check the place out. They were to close at 2:00AM. The girl at the door charged me a $15 cover fee. Yet, she charged people behind me a cheaper cover. By the look in her face, I can tell this is not her first time doing so. That is a tricky game to play. She never knows who she is charging at the door, or who they know. Chill venue, just too young of a crowd for my taste, but music is good. Seems like a college vibe.
