Boba tea company — Restaurant in Tampa

It was cool to finally see a boba tea shop at International Plaza. I'm always hesitant to buy these drinks at the mall, because they never seem to be as authentic as the bigger named shops. It turned out to be better than I expected.

There is a regular menu, and then there are a few menus with drinks inspired by Japanese animated characters. It's all so cute! There were a couple of rose flavored options on the menu. I went with the Hello Kitty inspired one that is a lychee-rose milk tea. I've had this combination before, and loved it. This was no different. It was actually pretty good. I requested it to be 50% sweet. It was sweeter than I wanted it to be, but definitely not 100% sweet. I'd say it was about 75%. It all worked out.

The service was very good. I didn't have to wait too long. I don't really know much about this company other than what I could see on Instagram. I did see that they have crepes, ice cream, shakes, and smoothies. So, it's not just a boba tea company (just in name only). It’s disheartening when employees don’t want to complete their assigned tasks. I’ve been a regular at this place for the crepes, and I’ve visited five times. Out of those five visits, only two times have I been able to purchase a crepe. The reason for this is that they always claim to be out of ingredients or that the machine is malfunctioning. Today, I went to the store and noticed that the crepe machine was on, but the employee informed me that it wasn’t working. 🌸 I absolutely love all of the Studio Ghibli and other anime related items in the store and the Arrietty strawberry boba tastes amazing! Also the service was amazing and the tapioca pearls taste just like strawberries! This was the best early birthday gift/surprise! My birthday is tomorrow so this was a great experience. 10/10. For any Ghibli or other anime fans this is the place to go if you live in Tampa. The cherry blossoms on the wall and the anime figures are so cute in this cute boba tea...
