Our overall experience was okay, not great. We were in town to spend time with family and I had not been to this location as I visited the Fort Worth several years back when visiting family there. It is a beautiful restaurant with very comfortable seating, lighting, natural light, and ambiance. They took great care to ensure social distancing between guests, so we felt very comfortable. I was a little disappointed that it was a limited dinner menu, however that is certainly not the restaurant's fault as it's a sign of the times for now (thanks COVID). The beginning of our service was great; our server immediately fixing our very wobbly table and giving me a code to access the full wine menu. The sommelier assisted me with a few of my questions and brought over French red I picked out, though it was different than what was on the wine list (a Bordeaux rather than a Saint Emilion) but that was not an issue to me. The Bordeaux was surprisingly inexpensive and went wonderfully with our meal. Honestly, the star of the show was the cheese and charcuterie plate we ordered for an appetizer. Our only feedback was that the mustard didn't pair well with the flavor profiles of the cheese and charcuterie. It overpowered and covered up the flavors of the various cheeses and meats. Might we suggest honey or a jam of sorts? That would pair better with the savoriness of the cheeses. The fruit toast that came with it was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, our entrees came out before we were done with our appetizer when I specifically mentioned to our server that we like to relax and not be rushed. It was a Tuesday evening and they were not busy at all; I wouldn't have requested it otherwise. Timing is everything to an experience. Our steaks, while certainly prime beef without a doubt (yum), was underwhelming and placed on an enormous cold plate, giving the entree the feel of being a smaller dish than a $40 dish. I believe I got the filet tail, so it was an odd cut and the surrounding was well done with the very middle being the medium rare I requested. It had good texture and flavor though, so I was okay with not mentioning it. I was happy with continuing, and finishing, my meal; grateful to be able to sit in a nice restaurant for a steak dinner. I did feel toward the latter half of our evening that our server came by less and was not as engaging; however, I completely understand that the times we are in currently are exhausting. I mention it as it was a part of our overall experience. Maybe we'll try again next time we are in town and they are operating with a full menu and not having to deal with the exhausting...

Met with the Manager “Joe” and she made this “right.” That’s what it’s about - great customer service. Thanks Joe!!!

A bunch of my friends have been patrons of Del Frisco’s for many years “many.” One of our friends is there at least twice a week if not more - we are there at least once a month. Keep in mind, we know the manager’s, bartenders and wait staff. A few weeks ago, we had a group of friends meet at Del Frisco’s and ended up ordering two bottle of our favorite wine (Austin Hope), which we’ve ordered for years!!!! We don’t have to look at the wine list, we know what we want. When we went to check out, the price DOUBLED from $80 to $165!!! The bartenders said they were shocked about the price!! They were unaware of the price change and the manager on duty at the time just blamed the price change on “corporate so management didn’t bother telling their bartending staff about the price adjustments… what kind of customer service is that to your regular customers?? If Management had informed the team of the price increases, I’m sure the bartenders would have told us that there was an increase in prices on wine, that we should look at the wine list for the new pricing. Management that night didn’t offer any solution…. It was too late to give them the wine back. Lesson learned for my friends and me…. We ask every restaurant how much the price is every time now!!! Guess what, I really have no desire to go to DelFriso’s and if I do, I’ll take my own bottle and pay a corking fee and it will still come our cheaper than the $165 they are charging for Austin Hope!!! I feel that price is robbery and they are taking advantage of customers. So I’m going to our other favorite restaurants and paying fair pricing for Austin Hope...
