Walking into India’s Grill, nestled in the heart of Tampa, one is immediately enveloped in an atmosphere that is as warm and inviting as it is typical. While the decor embraces the quintessential Indian aesthetic 🎨, it doesn’t quite whisk you away to the vibrant streets of Mumbai or the serene landscapes of Kerala. It’s a dance 💃 between the familiar and the expected, a setting that’s pleasant but won’t make your Instagram followers green with envy.
Service 🙋♂️
Our experience with the service was akin to a straightforward dance 💃 - no frills, no fuss. Our server, efficient and professional, had mastered the art of brevity. Drinks 🍹 were ordered, served, and then we were swiftly ushered into the main event - the food. While the lack of small talk left more room for anticipation, a dash more warmth would have turned the service from “just there” to “just right”.
The Feast 🍲
Ah, the food! The Goat Biryani was a delightful melody 🎶 of flavors, tender pieces of goat interwoven with aromatic rice, each bite a testament to the chef’s prowess. Yet, amidst the symphony of spices, there lurked a sense of the routine, a dish crafted to satisfy but perhaps not to inspire.
The Samosas, shared in the spirit of camaraderie, were pockets of joy, their flaky crusts giving way to a succulent, spiced filling. A classic done right, yet missing that enigmatic touch that transforms a meal into a memory.
In Retrospect 🤔
India’s Grill is akin to a familiar melody 🎵 - comforting, reliable, but perhaps lacking the crescendo that elevates a piece from pleasing to profound. It’s a place where you’d return for the assurance of a good, hearty meal, but perhaps not for a culinary odyssey that teases the senses and stirs the soul.
Would I return? Certainly. India’s Grill is akin to the reliable pages of a beloved book 📖 - always ready to welcome you, yet perhaps lacking the allure of undiscovered terrains.
So, if you find yourself in Tampa, craving the warm embrace of well-cooked Indian fare, devoid of surprises yet rich in tradition, make your way to India’s Grill. It’s not an escapade, but it’s a date. And sometimes, that’s just what the soul needs.
Final Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐ - “It’s a Date!”
For those seeking a reliable haven of traditional flavors in a world that’s always chasing the extraordinary.
I hope this helps to elevate your review, making it as colorful and engaging as the rich tapestry of Indian cuisine itself! Feel free to tweak and adjust as per your unique voice and experience. Bon...

My family and I visited India's Grill Tampa this afternoon. This was a new place to us and we were skeptical given the location and how quiet it was upon arrival. However, we feel that we found a hidden gem.
The place was clean and the atmosphere was good. We were greeted by our server Rupesh who helped us place our order. He fielded our questions without rushing us. And because of his recommendations, we had a 5/5 dining experience. Of note, we are a vegetarian Desi family with high expectations. Many restaurants tend to meet but not exceed our taste hopes.
The pleasant surprises started by us receiving our entrees within minutes!
Before ordering, Rupesh helped us avoid dishes that were meant for those less acquatined with Indian cuisine. We asked for his opinions and boy did he deliver. He recommended an absolute killer of an entree called "Paneer Khurchan." Having never tried shredded paneer, this dish shredded my doubts. Flavor profile, texture, gravy, and spice level were perfect.
But the Chefs didn't stop there. India's Grill went 2 for 2 with dangerously spicy "Vegetable Vindaloo." India's Grill provided a healthy amount of heat without sacrificing their flavor profile - which was a wonderful mix of masala spices and subtle hints of savory and sweet.
We as a family were very impressed with our dining experience. Not only is India's Grill a bang for your buck, (3 adults

After having a 5 star experience at the Indias Grill Brandon location, I figured the quality would be matched by the Kennedy location. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Our experience started off with nonchalant service, pretty typical for this type of restaurant and something I’m willing to look past as long as the food is worth. As we sat down, a large bug crawled along the wall next to us, again something that didn’t really bother me in the moment.
The gobi Manchurian was spicy and delicious and we enjoyed our curries until we found loads of bone/tendon in the curry along with a nice stray hair that wasn’t ours, appetite non-existent at this point. The special chicken curry was okay but all of these things added up made us never want to go back.
To be fair the waiter did not charge us for the butter chicken dish but it was too little too late at that point. Stick with the...
