I love this place. To put what the general public wants to know first, I used to work at a Robeks in Bloomingdale, FL when I was 17 and they use whole, flash-frozen fruit and all the yummy stuff you’d put in a smoothie you made at home, instead of loading it up with ice (looking at you Tropical Smoothie) or turbinado (looking at you Smoothie King). Everything is delicious! This next part is kind of mostly for management, assuming (hoping) they read these regularly. I ordered via Postmates a week ago and the driver missed one of the drinks I ordered. I have Covid, I can’t just go back to the store(plus I live kind of far) and the driver can’t/won’t just go and pick it up and drive back to my house again. I called the store, and Shadae(sp?) not only took down my information to replace the drink on my next order, but she could hear that I was sick and asked if I was okay! My heart! She said she hoped I felt better soon and was just the sweetest, most capable person I’ve talked to on the phone in a while. Then I called back today to place an order, and she remembered me, asking me if I was feeling any better! She remembered without me even needing to say. I know a lot of This can be chalked up to customer service but she didn’t HAVE to do or say any of this, so thank you. She was so polite and helpful and that’s not always something you find, especially over the phone. So thanks girly, it meant more than you know. I hope your manager takes this and you seriously, give some recognition!
Also, if management does read this, y’all need to bring back the wraps and salads, that tuna wrap was like Christmas Day...
Read moreThe smoothies here were great. Ordered the pina koolada with my fiancé and toddler which we loved.
3 stars only because we didn’t enjoy the service provided by Corie and Bridgett. We ordered Pina koolada smoothies and a cup of water. It took 10 minutes to get them, and during that time 2 other individuals walked in, ordered, and were served before us (they both ordered avocado toast, smoothies, and a shot of juice).
We watched them chop tomatoes for avocado toast that someone else ordered after us rather than begin making our smoothies. We also watched them blend fresh juice for someone who ordered after us rather than begin making our smoothies.
I’m not sure if it was our race/background or just poor processes, but I think good customer service is acknowledging people who are standing in front of you watching you make the orders of people who ordered after them. A quick “my apologies for the wait but your order will be right up”...
Read moreOnly gave the 2 stars because the customer service was good. But I would give their açaí bowls zero stars. I know that’s not the worker’s fault, I’m aware that they just make whatever their corporate tells them to with the ingredients they are given. With that being said, I want to honestly review Robek’s açaí bowls. The açaí tastes artificial and blah, and it was watery. And if you are used to eating high quality açaí bowls (lots of fresh fruit toppings) then this place will be a huge let down for you. I was genuinely in shock to see the toppings..... literally 5 super tiny miniature strawberries- each about the size of a nickel, the bananas sliced paper thin, and a couple blueberries tossed in. When I first saw the toppings (or lack there of), I actually thought I was being Punk’d. Overall, the whole thing was gross. It was so bad I wanted to just throw it in the trash. Such a shame... they’re in a great location. Missed...
