Not often do you go to a Mall and not only get a good meal, but I’m glad my wife and I stopped in before heading over to pick our son up from the Airport. This was only the second time that I have eaten at a Shake Shack, but it hasn’t even been a week between visits. The first one I ate at was located in Wesley Chapel Florida and found the burgers very tasty. I guess I’m weird, because I’m not a fan of mayo on anything, however I know that the shake sauce is a mix, no matter it tastes good and definitely compliments the taste of the burger. Someone somewhere tried comparing this burger to Culver’s or even Steak and Shake. They are not even close with the quality of the burger at Shake Shack, especially Steak and Shake. Anyway I was telling my wife about it and we saw that they had one at the international mall next to the airport, so we decided to see if it was the same, and it was actually a little better as far as the presentation and the way it was put together. The flavor was still on point, but what made this trip better was the conversation about the product with the Manager Gary. You could tell he was passionate about the product they serve and he was very gracious with the time he spent with us. I’ve never had that at any restaurant of the kind, much less at a major mall next to the airport. You would also think that the prices would be higher, because they are at the mall, but they are actually cheaper than most of today’s burger chains. We will definitely be back to Shake Shack, but especially to this location because of the friendliness of Gary and his staff. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to like their job, which is rare these days, but you can tell by the way it was...
Read moreI haven't been to a Shake Shack in a while. The last time was during a layover at the airport in Charlotte. All I can say is that the service here was way better.
It was the Black Truffle Burger that lured me in. I've heard so much about it. What I didn't know is that it can be ordered as a single or double burger. I ordered a single. It was so delicious! The black truffle aioli was enough to win me over. I didn't taste a whole lot of gruyere, but it was there. The fried sweet onions were perfectly crispy. I even liked their potato bun, which I typically don't like. I hope they keep this one on the menu. I was very tempted to get the Black Truffle 'Shroom Burger because it looks amazing in the pictures. That will be my next order.
Everything was great! They have an automated system set up for contactless ordering. I chose to order at the counter. The staff is very helpful (unlike the locations at the airport). They will bring the order to your table when it's ready. The restaurant was clean. There's somewhat limited seating. I was there early when it opened, so seating wasn't a problem. I walked past it around 3pm and it was super busy. You can always place a takeout order, and take it to the food court if needed.
This newest location of Shake Shack is a great quick service option...
Read moreShake Shack left such a great impression on my first visit! The space was clean, calm, and relaxing with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The food? Absolutely delicious. The fries had the perfect crunch, and the chicken sandwich was juicy on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, and surprisingly big…about the size of my palm and spilling out of the bun in the best way. Everything tasted so fresh and well-prepared.
Unfortunately, my second visit didn’t live up to that same standard. The chicken portion was noticeably smaller and made the sandwich feel more like bread with a bite of chicken. Both the sandwich and fries were lukewarm and lacked the freshness I had been looking forward to. I’m hopeful it was just an off day. When Shake Shack gets it right, it’s...
