I was literally the ONLY person in the store besides one employee cleaning the floor and another behind the counter. Tell me how in the world did it take 10 minutes to get my drink? After 5 minutes of waiting, I went back up to the counter to check on my order and the guy said, “Oh, what did you want?”……..I had been sitting at the high top table off to the side, so I was out of sight of the register, but I was literally the only person in there……How did you take my order and my money and not make my drink? He then proceeded to make the WRONG drink, not once but TWICE! Not to mention that this location closes at 5PM?……5PM?! What kind of “Starbucks” is this? This is a pretty busy area with a good amount of foot traffic and this location is attached to a hotel. You’d think it would be open much later. Just doesn’t make sense to me. But I’m also seeing that all the other Starbucks in the downtown area close extremely early as well…….I don’t get it. Read moreI experienced the utmost dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at this location. It was absolutely terrible. One of the staff members treated me with complete disregard, while the supposed "General Manager" stood by and did nothing. To make matters worse, the barista even walked away in the middle of our conversation and blatantly observed my interaction with the GM through the window that separates the front and back of the store. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of urgency is completely unacceptable. Although, I was highly frustrated with the barista I was more disappointed “GM” response as she showed what leadership looks like as to why that particular barista assumed her behavior was acceptable. It is disheartening to see such a disregard for the values that Starbucks claims to uphold, such as “nurturing limitless possibilities of human connections” and treating others with dignity and care.
