Tony Roma's Bones & Burgers — Restaurant in Tampa

Bones and burgers? More like boned and bozos. I’ve never had a burger and not been able to taste a single ingredient on it. The bun was hard like the burger was put in the fridge 20 mins after making it. I’ve had a burger with more meat on it at White Castle. Do yourself a BIG favor and don’t spent your money here.

(EDIT) I’ve taken up the generous offer of a free meal thanks to Alexandra and my 2nd experience was a slight improvement but not enough to change my star rating. Let’s also add I’m very nonchalant and RARELY review so if I’m writing all this then you know it’s not looking good. To start, you’d think with it being free automatically it would be enjoyable but it’s doesn’t matter if it’s free if it’s still not good just like the bing internet browser. This time around the bun wasn’t hard and the cheese was somewhat melted which are “additions” to this experience, but that’s the very basics of a proper burger. Taste overall was the same an overall lackluster burger which is shockingly impressive since the burger has 2 sauces, rib meat, and bacon on it (I got the BBQ bruiser, and the only thing this “burger” is bruising is your self worth and your wallet). Fries? Nah more like goodbyes, they aren’t even worth review and didn’t bother finishing them. Without the free offer just those 2 items cost $15. Which is a joke for the quality (like the hit DC release Joker level of joke). Way better off going anywhere within walking distance of this place, at least then you’d get your moneys worth. In conclusion Tony Oh-nahs: Boned & Bozos is a steer clear. I’m now going to enjoy literally...

This is the first time in about 20 years that I have visited Tony Roma's in the mall and after having it I see why. I ordered the ribs with just the rub and it was awful. I never had ribs that were crunchy like they had been deep fried there was no flavor or taste to it at all it tasted like the meat had been boiled and then smoked. And my rib look like it was hung out to be dried. I never tasted a baby back rib so dry no flavor and crunchy. I guess that was my last and final time awful awful awful 😞 this is one establishment that needs to be closed not because of poor service but the quality of food is awful and The taste is awful do not waste $20 on freeze dried ribs. I wish I could get a refund! Next time I'm going to start checking the reviews for eating at places this would have saved me over $20. What good is it to write a review all they're going to do is come back and say we're sorry that you had a bad experience with us. Close this...

Just A Taste 5.20.2023:

Traditional BBQ in Florida is typically a hit or miss. HOWEVER, Bones & Burgers is a HIT! Me reminiscing on the ribs, the fries, the wings yes I ordered it all 😂 me & my friends just couldn't resist. The only thing that trumped the TASTE of the food is the QUALITY of the service. As soon as I told Kayla this was our first time dining here she immediately said, "YaY welcome! We're going to be bestfriends!" And she wasn't lying. After eating all that good southern traditional BBQ, I was tempted on buying her and the chef's (Yes I said chef's) a candle from BBW lol.
