NeNe Chicken Guam (네네치킨 괌) — Restaurant in Tamuning Municipality

After a long day of walking through Tumon with the children, we decided on some chicken. We opted to get the chicken to go this time.

The atmosphere inside was cozy and fun. They had a station set up for easy to-go ordering, which made the process quick and convenient—perfect for tired families like ours. Staff were friendly and the service was efficient, which we appreciated after a busy day.

Once we got back and opened the food, the presentation was decent. Everything was packed neatly and still warm. However, the flavor was lacking. We were expecting something bold or unique, but the chicken was surprisingly bland. The seasoning didn’t quite come through, and it felt like something was missing—especially compared to other Korean fried chicken spots we’ve tried.

One of my favorite chicken brand from South Korea! I was so excited to try it and it didn’t disappoint me. Just few things that i hope they can improve- some more side dishes or more radish? It was such a little plate they provide, i coulve just ate at one time. I would say key of Korean fried chicken is availability to enjoy with sweet radish, and it was not that much- made me sad a little. Also lack of side dishes. It might be because they only been open for bit, i hope they can expend their side menus which we can enjoy with main dishes. Also hope they can serve Ice tea as all islanders love it! Other than that, crew were all so kind, food was amazing! Crispyness is top level on Guam for sure. Would go back anytime again. Just FYI, its a bit pricier than other chicken places. We were driving by Tumon and came across this chicken place so we decided to dine in.

For two half boxes of chicken, a bottled water and a side of garlic sauce it cost on or around $40~, you can decide whether this is expensive or fair.

Cons:

1. they forgot about our garlic sauce and we had to call the server to follow up. I believe they gave us honey mustard by mistake
2. the popcorn was stale
3. you could taste something else in the oil that was used to cook the chicken. Maybe this was intentional?
4. lack of salad options. Maybe incorporating a cabbage or some shredded vegetable on the menu would be nice.
