Long wait. Friendly waitress, great food. I got the kurobata pork belly, the roasted bone marrow, and my husband got what I think was called the pika pika pizza. They did warn me that my 2 would be small, and I was okay with that. I do appreciate the warning. The pork imo would benefitted from them using a fattier cut such as pork belly as it was a bit dry, and more peppercorn - I barely tasted any and was expecting a lot since it was in the description. Pretty good otherwise. The bone marrow was ok. I don't know if it was precooked and resolidified, or if they just torched it without prior prep. Whatever they did, it needed more cooking time cause there were lots of pockets of solidified fat that looked underdone. I'm used to it being really melt in your mouth as we use it in pho and me and sister would fight over the marrow. Balsamic was also too sweet for me. Was still overall enjoyable. The slice of pizza I stole from my husband though, that was great. The crust was perfect. Perfect amount of spice, sauce wasn't too sweet.
Edit: 3 stars is neutral. Amazing food gets an extra star, great service and atmosphere get another star combined. Wanted to give 4.5 but cannot. Couldn't give them a full 5 because of the bone marrow and pork choice. If it's going to be small and expensive(the 2 plates were $32) like finer dining would be, I'm going to hold it to...

Read morePrimo Pizzakaya is the restaurant that Guam never knew it needed so badly! The inspired creativity that chef/owner Dylan Saad displays in all of his dishes, coupled with the technical skills he mastered while attending one of the top culinary schools in the world, make his restaurant one of the best I have been to while in Guam, if not ever. Every dish on the menu pushes the boundaries of delicious food and steps up the level of food available on Guam. The service is top notch and our server, Anna, definitely delivered some of the best service we have experienced in a restaurant. There was a short wait to be seated, but with good reason. The entire experience was one of a kind. The restaurant is very intimate, with the kitchen being the focal point of the entire experience. Chef Dylan is incredibly welcoming and takes time out to speak with each of the guests sitting at the bar personally. The wait staff is very attentive and personable, without being overbearing. The food is made from the freshest, highest quality ingredients available, and it shows. I will definitely be returning in the very near future and would recommend this restaurant to anyone without a...
