Yokozuna Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamuning Municipality

This place was semi busy when I walked in on a Saturday night. Another person walked in behind me n he waved at his friend inside. The waitress took him to his friend even though I walked in first. Then the 2 guys went outside without sitting?! The waitress went back to bring food from the kitchen to customers. I ended up waiting for another 5 minutes even though she acknowledged me first n there are tables n counter sitting available. I ended up sitting at the counter. I ordered the box set of ramen n Karaage Chicken for $12. The food came out very fast for a Japanese restaurant n I wolfed down my ramen n chicken in no time. I waved at the waitresses again n took another 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me again. Told her I m ready for the bill. She went to the counter but was told to deliver food to other customers. She did tell the head waitress that I m ready but she just ignored her n continue directing other waitresses to deliver food. I waited for 10 minutes n just left $12+$1 cash on the table n walked. After I was outside n 50 ft from the restaurant, I heard someone calling n I looked back n saw a waitress waving at me. I walked back n she showed.me the bill. I told her I left the cash on the table as she said she didn't even check the table first. Food good, service subpar.

Got there at 6pm. Empty seats everywhere. Ordered my Toro Tekka-Don and spicy hamachi roll. 20 minutes goes by and my spicy hamachi gets to me. Waiter comes by and asks if we got everything, stated I’m missing my Toro Tekka-Don. He does and talks to the chefs about(I guess). 50 minutes later we ask to get our bills. He goes to the sushi chef and grabs a bowl that’s been sitting there for 30+ minutes. My Toro Tekka-Don was half cooked, cause the rice was hot. Place didn’t get busy until 720pm. I’m writing this at 744pm/June 2, 2022. What’s more is that all the servers stood around by the kitchen window waiting for kitchen items to come out and didn’t look behind them at all, a random bowl sitting there for no reason. Getting all the germs in the air people coughing up and bugs flying...

A terrible disaster. Tuna was so heavily salted to mask its spoiled fishy smell. Do not order anything made with tuna here. Fried rice was an oily mess… ramen noodles overcooked and mushy. Nothing here is made with any sort of care and attention. Inside of the restaurant is freezing cold.. yes even for guam. Anyone sitting outside, usually moves inside or gets fumigated by the bald asian men sitting on the end of the outside pavilion chain smoking between every bite of food. Have never been to this restaurant and not seen someone smoking outside. Yes they allow folks to smoke in the outdoor dining spaces. This is the worst japanese restaurant we’ve ever eaten at. The backwoods “hibachi & sushi roll” places in Oklahoma, Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio, Texas are head and shoulders above this place. Avoid...
