It used to be one of my favorite restaurants to bring friends and family who visit the island with confidence. Spaghetti was not seasoned enough and dried even though I specially asked for it to be saucy(juicy) and the customer service was too terrible. Besides my server, others seem to have no idea what they're there for. And there was unstopping phone call coming to the store and ringing loud all over the restaurant but don’t seems like get answered at right time. It should be better if you can at least bother to volume down, if you can’t take it in time. It was very frustrating and disturbing all time during the meal. The first person I face was a manager (she must be the one since she was handing the packed money over the counter to the security company) who looked miserable. Never smiled and greet the people So I wasn’t even surprised that other servers ignored customers. I even had to raise my hand to get attention even after their eye contacted me and literally turn their face. I had to check the rude server’s name even after she heard me calling her just pretended she didn’t hear any of it. I would be very understanding if she was busy with others however she just wanted near her miserable look boss. Dear Ms. SEPE, what about giving your attention to your customers before showing those moves such as bouncing kindness to your boss? You’re there because we, the customer goes there and spend our money. Not because your boss is there. We're not just paying for the food, we pay for the service as well. Isn't that the reason why you charge us the...
Read moreBeen coming here for many years and it has always been consistently good and tasty. This particular one in pacific palace has been our go-to Caps. They expanded and updated their restaurant, however, they would still be busy and there’s always a long wait time during lunch or dinner time. Highly suggest to come in early to reserve a table. The meals are big enough to share with 2-3, maybe even 4 people. Ive ordered almost all of their pastas and my family and I always liked the squid ink pasta, creamy pesto with chicken pasta, pesto pasta, and the clam / seafood linguine, and genovese pasta. Their appetizers and soups are also big enough to share. They used to give fresh mozzarella but they now charge $1 more for a small bowl of it. If you also want to order to go or pick up, be aware you have to pay extra $1 for the take out bowl they put pasta in (I don’t know when they started doing that but I just noticed it last night when I placed an order for pick up). Even though the prices may be on the higher side ($17-19 per bowl) I still think that it’s worth it as it is feeding 2-4 persons. This restaurant is family friendly, although leave anything bulky (strollers, car seats, etc) at home Because it can be a tight space. the servers are almost always ok (except for the rare nights they were understaffed and took a lot longer to get your order - but that’s understandable). I like the ambiance and this Italian restaurant is much better than the...
Read moreFirst time visit. The atmosphere was blah. The service was ok. Servers were nice. Our server might have been new, because he wasn't very attentive. Other servers checked on us more often after we were served our food. The food was mediocre at best. Pricey, but a full serving is for 3-4 people. So we ordered a half serving. This was an option that our server offered us. It doesn't show that on the menu. We shared a half serving of the spaghetti with meat sauce and added the meatballs (extra charge). The sauce was bland and the meatballs tasted like they were previously frozen and microwaved. We also shared a Margherita pizza pie extra crispy. It was topped with sliced tomatoes and drizzled with pesto sauce. The tomatoes were not even close to ripe and really didn't add much flavor. The only crispy part of the pizza was the crust edge. I guess if you are a tourist and don't have any transportation it's a good option, but with other Italian options nearby I'd have to say try one of the...
