TGI FRIDAYS Guam Tumon — Restaurant in Tamuning Municipality

Gonna be a long review but a lot was wrong.

First time we came here the service was great and food was delicious so we thought we would go again. This time it was the complete opposite.

Service and food was badddd. Our waiter seemed so lost, frustrated, and seemed like they could snap at any moment. Noticed them talk rudely and raise their voice at tables that were tourists. Took forever to get drinks. Then was spilling drinks as they were being brought out. Ordered nachos for an appetizer. Description said it came with chili on it but it was pretty much chunks of a dried up crumbled burger patty. Barely any of the other toppings. Entrees came out one by one. One plate was brought out and then not given to us. Burgers that were ordered had a very bitter taste to them like the grill that they were cooked on needed to be deep cleaned. Didn’t finish the burger and didn’t take it home.

We should have left after our drinks and appetizer based on the service alone but didn’t, which I regret not leaving.

I feel like this place survives on tourists that only come here once and never return.

Food here is quite bad, definitely not worth the high prices. Speed of serving is also really slow and booth seats are uncomfortable as they are too low.

I tried the Three for All and Whiskey Glazed Sampler. We first had to wait close to an hour for the drinks and food. The appetiser was very average, but you can rarely go wrong with deep fried food. They allow a choice of boneless wings for the buffalo chicken, which was convenient. The batter for the chicken was quite dry, not the best I've eaten. The sampler was bad. The ribs were tasteless and dry, and the whiskey sauce was one of the worst I've had. It was terribly sweet and didn't go well with the food. The shrimp was not fresh, it tasted like the frozen, rubbery kind.

As for their desserts, I tried their signature Sundae which was really bad. It was the first time eating ice cream so powdery. I could taste all the milk powder granules, which was super unappetising. I have never had ice cream with such a poor texture before.

Overall, I would avoid returning here again as the food is honestly terrible and the wait for the food...

My wife and I went later in the afternoon and the place was empty. We waited almost 10 minutes to get our drink orders and we never had anyone check on us. We didn't have one specific person serving us this whole time. For a while it just seemed like we were forgotten. The burgers were horrible, my wife and I left hours ago and we still feel like throwing up. The burgers were not fresh and were dry as if they were sitting under a heating lamp all day. We never got our water refilled until we were done eating and were not offered a dessert menu or asked if we wanted our bill. We had to wait another 15 minutes to finally get our bill. 12% service charge is included as tip and that was far too generous and I usually try to tip at least 20% as long as we aren't forgotten.
