Super charming and welcoming wine bar - situated on historic Ledoux Street next to the Harwood Museum. The owners are gracious and knowledgeable and the service is excellent. It's a great place to meet up and catch some live music and sip some wonderful wines. They host a super fun and lively open mike each week. I love to bring out of town guests here to show off how sweet Taos is!

Had a nice time listening to good music (2 guys on guitars) and sipping a great bottle (from Spain) of wine. Those in charge were willing and able to accommodate our needs to ensure we were well served. Finished off the night with a charcuterie board which was a little pricey but good! All in all, the place to be on a Saturday night 😊 5🌟

This place is a gem! We stumbled upon it after visiting some museums and galleries, and it was lovely! Some locals joined in a Celtic music jam and it was so much fun to eat, drink delicious wine and enjoy meeting new people and listening to great music!

Barra Vino is a magical place, not to be missed, whether you live in Taos or are here visiting. The moment you walk in the door you experience the warmth, the beauty, the good cheer and the good vibes of the space, only to be greeted by the owners themselves, who provide the kindest, most attentive, welcoming service you could find anywhere. You immediately feel as if you are among friends, in a place that feels like home.

There is always good live music to take in, as you sample from an excellent and varied list of wines by the glass, or beer, or artfully conceived frozen fruit drinks (frozées) and wait to be served tasty, creative, lovingly prepared small plates.

There's also a delightful patio out back that looks onto Ledoux Street, Taos's own version of Canyon Road, home to artists for over 100 years, just one block or so from the Taos Plaza.

My wife and I are regulars, and count Barra Vino as a home away from home, usually meeting up there with friends from Taos or with friends visiting from out-of-town. Consistently wonderful, and we come here a lot.

All are welcome and well-received. Come by when you can for an...

The owners are SO charming and helpful and have cultivated a wonderfully welcoming environment. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, the perfect place for a lovely night out.

The food is to die for and made with so much intention, which should be a given but unfortunately isn't. That is not the case at Barra Vino. Every dish feels thought out and cared for, with every element coming together with the sole intention of satisfying the customer. Not to mention the wide variety of distinguished and elegant wines that are sure to give you whatever buzz you're looking for.

On nights with live music or an open mic, you really feel a sense of community flood the restaurant. Everyone who shows up is friendly and excited to simply have a good time! Which is exactly what you'll be in for if you spend an evening with Ben and Bliss...

A gem on Ledoux, right next to the Harwood Museum, where one can imbibe in a variety of wine covering the full spectrum of flavor, from buttery chards, to the tannin rich tastes with food options to pair that may sate the most discerning of palates. Live music as well to really “tie the room together”, not unlike Lebowski’s fabled rug. Local sounds from the cultural vortex that is Taos may draw you in like a siren to this oasis. Dog friendly. Outdoor patio seating available. Great atmosphere and a...
