Alyssa, we were pleasantly surprised that you recalled our beverages and favorite appetizer from our visit in October. You provided superior service. Your smile and attitude showed that you cared about us.
For today's meals, we decided to try the sandwiches (pictured below). The Club Sandwich wheat bread was perfectly toasted with a great crunch. Because it was so thick it didn't get moist as I ate the sandwich.
If I hadn't filled up on the curly mozzarella sticks, I'd have eaten more of the sandwich. I took home two pieces of the sandwich and the fries. As for the meats and cheeses on the sandwich,.. fresh, fresh, fresh, and bountiful. I'm a cheese fanatic. Thus, the thick slices of cheese were perfectly paired with hearty bread. The bacon was thick and crunchy. Sometimes, when you order a sandwich with bacon, the bacon is like a wet noodle and thin as angel hair pasta. NOT HERE. It was a 5 star sandwich.
My husband tried the Monte Cristo. This was his first taste of a Monte Cristo sandwich. It was a generous portion, cooked to perfection, and paired well with the raspberry side.
A kudos to Pam. She is the GOAT of managers. As a manager, she puts herself in the role of a customer. Thus, she trains her staff as such. She isn't sitting/hiding in an office doing whatever. She's checking on customers, including clearing the table of empty glassware and plates.
p.s. The ranch dressing is made in-house. I would purchase the dressing for salads and more at home, if I could.
p.p.s. Be sure to mention that you are a first-time customer for a free appetizer on your second visit.

Alyssa, I wish my husband and I could have stayed to order our entrees. You were so kind to offer us cups for our drinks.
We will be sure to ask for you on our next visit.
Thank you, Savanah, for providing us with an excellent, first dining experience.
The menu is so vast that it was difficult to choose a meal. My husband vascillated between a pizza or a burger. Savanah suggested the Bacon Cheeseburger. I ordered the Fish and Chips.
The burger was definitely the right choice. It was HUGH. Pictures were posted of him eating the burger. He almost ate everything. Only a small amount of the loaded cheese fries were left on the plate (took those leftovers home). I still had a piece of fish left and a bunch of chips that we took home as well.
There is no shrinkflation here!! My husband's glass of soda was never empty. Thank you, Savanah!!
Plenty of televisions. One had videos from the 80s/90s. A video game console on the table for the little ones, although we enjoyed it while waiting for our meals.
The manager, Pam, heard it was our first time dining at this restaurant. She introduced herself and asked us about our meal and dining experience. We were impressed that she cared about us.
Our bill was only $38.31.
p.s. it was so nice to dine at a restaurant with...
Read moreI've always wondered what the hype was about this place and why their parking lot is always full. Well, today i figured that out. It's the delicious food! We went a little early in the evening which may have been the reason why we didn't have to wait to be seated. The staff was friendly and since we told them this was our first time there, they made sure to point out what they were most known for (their pizzas, burgers and drinks). I had the mushroom burger (the one with Angus patties), and it was truly juicy and tasted really good. I got the hot fries, and if you don't mind the spiciness, i definitely recommend them. My husband had the bacon burger and was equally content with the food. We got the chicken nachos to share. They were good but i wouldn't suggest adding the guacamole because the amount they add on there was a little disappointing. To be honest, don't expect a large nachos to share, I've had larger at some other restaurants. I had the exotic margarita as well and I would suggest it if you like sweeter drinks. Will certainly return whenever I'm in the mood for a burger or I'd even return just to try one of their pizzas (although they seemed a little pricey).
Edit to the initial review: I was very disappointed last night. Not sure if things have gone downhill with this place but that's what it seemed like. We got there around 9 to take advantage of the burger deal. The waitress seemed quite upset of the fact that we ordered burgers. It seemed they then purposely didn't really care about our table. The food came out delayed but we were one of the two tables at that time. We weren't asked about how we wanted the burger and when we asked the waitress after, she said the Sunnyside one could not be ordered medium. I would think that is something she should have informed us ahead of time if that was the case. We wouldn't have placed that order. Then the burger meal is supposed to come with a spear of pickle and they didn't. We asked for them and they brought them separately. Finally, the fried were cold. And when I say cold, they were kind of lumped together. For how long they took you'd think they were making the fries fresh. It really seemed like we needed to ask for everything last night. Saying we were dissatisfied doesn't begin to cover...
Read moreSAVANNA IS THE WORST SERVER I’ve literally ever had!! I just want that listed at the top of this review. She is rude and horrible at her job.
Let me just start by saying that I go to this place a lot. My mother in law and I typically love it here-great food, fun atmosphere. We usually go to the one by her house in Macomb. Today we went to this location because I moved over here.
I am sorry to say that I will never return. This was the worst service I have EVER received in a restaurant. We ordered chicken tender salads. It took an HOUR just to receive them. During that hour we were never checked on, never got our waters refilled, we weren’t even acknowledged. When the food runner (I’m assuming because it wasn’t Savanna) brought our salads I started cutting through my salad and notice that a lot of the salad is brown. I’m not talking a couple of wilted pieces, I’m talking about the whole damn salad is rotten. We kindly ask management to please come speak with us. The manager can see just how bad it looks and she apologizes and says they will be remade. She was nice, probably the only pleasant part of this experience. Tell me why it takes another hour. At this point we’re just like hell with this. They finally bring them, no fork for my mother in law. We’re over it. We ask for boxes, another 30 minutes. Now I’m furious, extremely irritated as I have my small child with me who needs to get to bed as I didn’t anticipate ordering salads would be a 3 hour event. This Savanna chick finally gives us our check and my mother in law is irritated at the fact that there’s no discount, she was thinking for sure they would have done something for such a long horrible experience. I could care less at this point I’m just trying to leave to get my child to bed. Another 20 mins go by. At this point they’re done with us I can tell, which is fine I’m done with them too. Savanna comes back and just says “here” and flies the check on the table and walks away. No sorry for the inconvenience, not a thank you have a great night, just an immature slap of the bill on the table. Very rude and unprofessional. And for what? She didn’t even take care of us!!! She took our order then handed us a check at the end. I will never step foot into this...
