I'm permanently disabled after near fatal carbon monoxide poisoning, and I frequently shop here. However, apparently due to my differences in appearance, I have been a target for security over and over. Every time I walk into the store there's a "security alert" announcement on loudspeaker. Certain employees have gone out of their way to be unfriendly/unhelpful, and their dislike is obvious. General manager watches me, and follows. Products I buy all the time are always going up in price, most are more than $1 increase, or never on shelves. It's blatant, horrible discrimination, possibly even harassment. I shop at the store because it's quick to walk through, less time for me to struggle with the neurological problems I'm left with, it's hard for me with coordination and strength. Seriously: We wanted a couple of pudding packs; they had one on the shelf and (as I heard one employee tell another) none in the back. Although I've lived here nearly ten years, this was my first venture into Dollar General; I can't think of a thing that would bring me back -- other than a couple of inexpensive but decent-quality hoodies in the back. As my spouse's grandmother would say, they've got a little bit of everything, and not much...
