Consistently Inaccurate Orders

I’ve given this location so many chances, and every time I do I regret it. Nearly every single visit, something is missing from my order. It’s not just the occasional mistake here or there—it's a pattern. My most recent visit should have been simple: four items. That’s it. And yet, 25% of my entire order was missing. It's not rocket science. It's basic math: if I order four items, I should receive four items.

What makes it worse is that I live several miles away, so every time I have to drive back to get what they forgot, it costs me more in fuel than the food is worth. The constant mistakes are simply unacceptable.

And to make matters more frustrating, Taco Bell seals everything shut with "tamper-evident" stickers—boxes, bags, drinks. While I understand why they do it, the stickers make it a pain to check your order at the window. You're left to either rip everything open right then and there and hold up the line, or take your chances and hope they got it right (spoiler alert: they almost never do).

My advice for anyone going through the drive-thru: check your order before you leave. Every. Time. Yes, even if it means ripping open every bag and box at the window and holding up the drive-thru line, because otherwise, odds are high you’ll be missing something.

So I just pulled up and checked the times open on the front door on a computer written sign stating drive thru open until 12am on Fridays. I pull up in the drive thru at 11:10pm to the speaker. Well the manager guy ( I know its the manager because I have talked to him in the restaurant before) looks at me with his head set on and walked away out of view. I said hello to the speaker and nothing. So then I proceed to the drive thru window and he looks at me and locks the window. So I honk. All I'm trying to find out is if I can order or are they shutting down for a bit, nope. Can't even say we are closed. So I drive away and call. No answer. Then I decided to write this. Tehachapi Taco Bell staff are Rude. Your signs on the door and drive thru window say open until 12am. All I can figure is he decided to close down early so he didn't miss The Bachelor TV. went to taco bell for the kids. it was 1:54. 2 is when $1 drinks start. I asked if I could do the $1 drink they said no it wasn't 2. so I drove through the drive through again. asked again at 1:56. she said no. I said OK I will wait here till its 2. she said I couldn't there were cars behind me. I sat there anyways. she said okay fine and did it. ordered the food. $10 bill. went to pay. tried using my husbands card. she wanted to see my ID. gave it to her. she went inside came back and said she wouldn't let me use it since my name wasn't on it. I asked to talk to the manager. he came out said the same thing. I argued that we had the same last name. he said it's not their policy. $10 f*g dollars!! that lady was just a b cuz I wanted to get the kids ices...
