I went into T-Mobile determined to switch phone plans and to get new phones on one of the best networks nationwide. I was not a hard sell on this excursion and only needed a few things before I signed myself up. Sadly, this was not as easy as it sounds with the staff. I asked a simple request, “Give me your best deal.” Somehow they managed to mess that up. The woman there was not knowledgeable and spent the better part of ten minutes figuring out the best promotional deals at a general price point. I asked her about the IPhone XR promotion and she danced around the inquisition as if she was paid to not promote that specific deal. The deal was for a free IPhone XR, and instead she wanted to sell me an IPhone 7 for $250. I asked for the exact monthly pricing for a plan with an IPhone XR, and she told me a “guesstimate” monthly cost with an IPhone 7. Finally, after twenty minutes I got her to figure out how much the plan would be with the XR, but the problems didn’t stop there. The price point she gave me was not including any promotions and did not include the XR monthly credits which is how the XR is free. The number she told me was completely useless. Instead of telling me how much I would have to empty my pockets every month she stood there like a deer in headlights and tried to sell me an Apple Watch for $200. I walked out of that store before I became too sick at just how clueless both of the workers there were. There are two things I can recommend after my endeavor. The first is to do yourself a favor and head over to the Verizon store across the street. The second is that if you do decide to go with T-Mobile, go to a one in a different city because if you go to the one in Tehachapi be prepared to lose a few IQ points as their stupidity is so strong...
Read moreToday I went into this location (4/20/22 at around 10am) and instantly was given an unhelpful attitude by one representative. I can't remember her nane but it started with R. She was trying to not help me from the beginning! She kept trying to tell me she couldn't process my request without fully hearing my concern.
There was another young lady there who was the opposite. Totally kind spirit, but unfortunately for me, She was helping other customers.
But back to the first lady, she kept saying she couldn't process my request unless I paid fees that customer service said I don't have to pay over the phone. She said she called a manager who also couldn't help me. She said that there isn't a customer service number that she can give me to speak to a higher up. She said there is no way for me to file a complaint. She said she, nor the manger on the phone could pull records of the previous representative statements. She said that she couldn't pull up any notes that the representative left. She basically couldn't do anything for me, so I left!
Only to call tmobile customer service number. This representative was kind. He was able to see the notes (that the store representative said she couldn't see and that the manager she had on the phone couldnt see). He was able to speak to his manager regarding the situation. AND he solved all the problems today over the phone.
Tmobile definitely needs to have training where ALL their employees are on one accord. Too many times have I heard by tmobile representatives comments like "sorry they misinformed you", "they had the incorrect information", or "im sorry we cant help you"
The only consistent thing I get from tmobile is an increase on my bill...
Read moreJust went in this past week to check out the new wifi 5G internet. Wow! So happy. I live in an area of Bear Valley and have just been using our hotspot for internet. Now I have a direct server that works fantastic on our new smart TV. I have to acknowledge the EXCELLENT customer service at this store!! DOLORES set up my tower and made sure it worked perfectly before I left the store. AUSTIN has always been extremely knowledgeable when I come in to review the 6 devices that our family uses. I’ve had service with T Mobile for over 20 years where we started in LA, but this store far exceeds any store I’ve visited in the LA metro area. Thanks for being an excellent service provider here in Tehachapi! Also want to acknowledge Joey who was also in the store at the time. 👏👏👏
8/14/24 Just an update, I had to figure out what was going on with my iphone not charging and I had an 8plus and I knew it had exceeded its typical shelf life. The sales rep (..315 - I didn’t get her name) was Exceptional! She took the time to evaluate my options and calmly explain the new charging cords, precisely apply the screen cover, and to help get the most for my trade in. She definitely helped make an expensive purchase easier by figuring out the best way to...
