If you're looking for a tea house that feels like a secret escape into elegance and calm, Corbeaux Wine & Tea House is exactly that.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were transported into a vintage-inspired oasis. The warm lighting, antique furniture, glass oil lamps, and delicate floral arrangements made the entire space feel both timeless and intimate -- like a cozy European tea salon with a modern touch.
We ordered two small pots of tea:
Honeybush (Tisane) - a beautiful herbal blend with African rooibos, soft nutty tones, vanilla, and a subtle honey finish. Soothing and fragrant.
Peaches & Cream (White Tea) - light and floral with hints of marigold, coconut, and fresh peach. It was incredibly smooth and refreshing.
For dessert, we couldn't resist the Cake & Cream -- and wow, this was more than dessert, it was a culinary experience. The seared butter cake was rich and golden, paired with a scoop of miso popcorn ice cream that brought a savory twist. Every element -- from the white pear tea gelée to the apple crisp bits and malted milk crumbs -- was thoughtfully balanced and plated with care.
Service was gentle, professional, and respectful of the peaceful atmosphere. No rush, just grace.
Whether you're here for a quiet date, a solo tea moment, or dessert after wine tasting, Corbeaux is a gem. Beautifully curated,...
Read moreI'm a little hesitant to give 3 stars because this hidden gem as many call it has 5 stars all the way. However, my experience was nothing like I expected. I am new to the area and I was looking forward to trying this place.
As soon as my friend and I walked in the young lady who was the only hostess/waitress at the moment walked up to us and said what can I do for you. I was a little surprised and I would have expected to have received a more inviting approach. Such as welcome, is this your first time here, are you here for tea time or a noon glass of wine. Something of that sort.
As a first timer I wasn't sure what to expect and I said we're here for coffee or tea and some dessert or appetizers. Obviously I'm not sure how things work around here I've only seen pictures online.
Anyway we are told to choose a table and we opt for the Tea for Two! I've had my fair share of high teas. From London to the Westgate in San Diego. When the tray arrived I was shocked. The portions were tiny which is acceptable for an afternoon tea. However, if it says tea for two there should be two of each item. Not just one mini biscuit and one mini or more like micro slice of cake. You definitely don't get what you pay for. This is $59 before tax and tip. The service was not great either, I would have loved some more enthusiasm...Maybe not...
Read moreWe’ve lived in Temecula for a while, and never knew this place existed until we looked up tea places. We couldn’t make afternoon tea but booked dinner for us instead. This place is located at the far end of downtown Temecula by the parking structure. When you walk in you can see the bar, with teas behind it, and a library and winery type of feel; very welcoming! The server gave us a few recommendations to start and we ordered drinks, their cocktails were delicious. I ordered a gin mixture and my wife got a mocktail version, they have a very versatile bar with cocktails that have tea mixes. We ordered several appetizers (grilled cabbage and caviar trio and spicy grapes). All three were amazing and the spicy grapes, which has goat cheese and olives and bread, was our favorite dish! We also ordered the black cod which was mouth watering and perfectly portioned. We ended the night with the seared butter cake, and we did not regret it. This place was amazing from top down. We will definitely be coming back soon. Also note this place price wise is reasonable but everything can add up quickly. Well worth the cost...
