I recently had the pleasure of visiting Handel's Homemade Ice Cream, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped foot into the shop, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The ice cream selection was extensive, with an array of unique flavors that catered to every palate.
However, what truly made my experience exceptional was the outstanding service provided by Sandy, the manager at Handel's. Sandy's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction was evident from the start. She went above and beyond to make sure that each customer received personalized attention and assistance in choosing the perfect ice cream flavor.
Sandy's knowledge about the different flavors and her ability to recommend combinations that perfectly suited my taste buds was truly impressive. Her passion for ice cream was contagious, and it made the entire experience even more enjoyable. She took the time to engage in friendly conversations, making me feel like a valued customer.
Not only was Sandy attentive and knowledgeable, but she also displayed exceptional leadership skills. She effortlessly managed the bustling shop, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Despite the busy environment, Sandy remained calm, composed, and always had a smile on her face.
Furthermore, Sandy's attention to detail was remarkable. She ensured that the ice cream was served at the perfect temperature, maintaining its creamy texture and rich flavors. Her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality was evident in every scoop.
Overall, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream is a must-visit for any ice cream enthusiast. The delectable flavors and creamy textures are simply divine. However, it is Sandy's exceptional management skills, warm personality, and dedication to customer satisfaction that truly set this establishment apart.
I cannot recommend Handel's Homemade Ice Cream enough, and I am grateful to Sandy for making my visit an unforgettable one. Her passion for ice cream and commitment to providing an exceptional experience truly shines through. Thank you, Sandy, for making Handel's a true gem in the world of ice cream!

For the most part, my husband and I LOVE handel’s. We try to purchase the 4 pint packs to take home and we enjoy it every time. The downfall is, there is a specific female Asian worker there, who is EXTREMELY RUDE. Today, I had my husband pick up our order as we got a text saying it was ready. He goes to the pick up window, and he didn’t even finish his sentence, to say what the name was under. she abruptly says “IM STILL WORKING ON YOUR ORDER.” And shuts the window on my husband. He waits while she finishes the order, even though I had gotten a text saying it was ready. Finally, he gets the ice cream and goes into the car to realize… IT WASNT OUR ORDER. It had a whole different name. So he goes back to the counter to let her know that this isn’t our order and it’s under a different last name. She looks into the refrigerator and takes out a bag… Lo and behold that was our order! So you’re telling me that my husband had to wait for her to finish an order that wasn’t even ours. LOL. All I’m gonna say is that I usually have a great experience at this location. Everyone is pretty nice except for this Asian girl at the to go counter. You are extremely rude and you need to learn customer service. If you are having a bad day, please don’t take it out on your customers.
Other than that, the ice cream is Amazing! I think it’s worth it for us to go there and grab a yummy treat. Like I said, even though there is one bad apple that works there, everyone else is sooo nice! I would just avoid the Asian girl, Unless you’re OK with ruining the rest of your day with a...

I learned that from a 3 year old.” Eric Church
Talking with a 3 year old is almost always an enlightening experience, but if you introduce ice cream to the equation you significantly increase your odds of being on the receiving end of some undeniable wisdom.
For example, during this visit to Handel’s (this 3 year old’s favorite ice cream destination) I was informed, “I’m turning 4 soon, but don’t worry. I’ll still like you.”
I mean, how could one even begin to question such logic? Clearly a 3 year old is far more qualified than an adult to understand the complexities of crossing the 4 year old threshold (and thank goodness I was reassured that our relationship will remain in tact once she does. 😅)
I wonder if when this 3 year old told me that “ice cream is my favorite thing in the world” she was expressing appreciation for how ice cream can have the effect of bringing us closer together. I mean, why is it that we are often unwilling to share our traffic lane while driving, but voluntarily offer to share our ice cream with others? This kid just might be onto something here. 🤔
