Alibi, the rooftop lounge, has become my preferred destination for a truly extraordinary evening. Across multiple visits, the impeccable service consistently stood out, turning each experience into a memorable occasion.
Christian, was one of the hardest working barbacks/bartenders I have ever seen, he is always running around making sure things are clean and ready for new guests.
Garrett's attentiveness was remarkable, making us feel like valued guests rather than mere patrons. He never made us feel unwelcome and checked on us frequently but not too much.
David's recommendations were always spot-on, showcasing a keen understanding of individual preferences as some of my group liked sweet and the others more spirit forward. He made sure each person got the drink that fits their tastes.
Gina, with her friendly demeanor, brought a warmth that transformed each visit into a social gathering among friends. She always makes it feel like a gathering space and less of a bar meet up.
Beyond the exceptional service, the allure of Alibi extends to its panoramic views of the Tempe skyline. The breathtaking scenery, especially during sunset, adds a magical touch to the already captivating ambiance. Whether enjoying the city lights with a group of friends or savoring a quiet evening with a loved one, the rooftop setting at Alibi creates an atmosphere that is both upscale and inviting.
I also wanted to mention the exceptional management team I’ve seen always checking in on their team and helping with even the simplest of tasks.
Alibi has masterfully combined the elements of extraordinary service, a diverse and expertly crafted drink menu, and a stunning skyline view. This rooftop lounge has proven itself to be a gem in Tempe, a place where each visit feels like a special occasion. It's not just a venue; it's an experience, and one that consistently earns its well-deserved 5-star rating and the reviews I’ve seen recently confirm my...
Read moreWe called to make a reservation for trivia night and were told "we don't take reservations", but when we got there several tables were reserved and we were told we couldn't sit there. Pictures make this seem very upscale and trendy -- it's not, and it's very small.
Some of the worst service I've ever experienced. Stood at the bar for 10-15 minutes before getting a beer while staff moseyed around and we watched the bartender painstakingly make drinks one by one as people lined up. Someone finally took my order, asked where I was sitting and told they'd bring it to me without giving a number or anything. Not surprisingly, no food showed up for 45 minutes and they just gave it to another table because they didn't know whose order was whose. Nearly every order at our table had to go find someone to get their food -- quite literally asked if we were so-and-so, responded with no, and they just gave us the food anyways.
Trivia was trash -- zero effort by the bar. It's just an automated multiple-choice system on the computer showing questions on a TV screen. To top it off, they didn't even pay attention to the computer or change the settings so it kept going to sleep during the game -- patrons had to go to the computer each time to keep the game going.
Their marketing in the photos is a facade. Would not recommend, will not be going back, and will advise any coworkers/friends to skip. Glad to see other reviews that reaffirm this -- sounds like it's a...
Read moreMy friend and I went here tonight. Worst service. We sat at the bar for approximately 20 minutes before we had to ask them if they would give us service because they kept ignoring us. Once we asked the bartender to help us he was super nice about it, of course. It was just the fact that we had to ask for a service. After sitting there for so long. It almost felt like because we were young girls no one wanted to help us. People that walked up after us got service right away over my friend and I. There was at least 3-4 bartenders behind the bar, and it still took 20 minutes for us to get any service and it wasn’t busy. Not to mention, my friend, and I are both bartenders at a bar in Phoenix, so we know how the industry can be hectic and that was not a hectic night at all. Overall, cute area, but terrible service and I will not be going back. After our first drink, we left. We were going to get food, but we figured we would go somewhere with better...
