2 years later and I have the same problem - they must dock their employees' pay or take their firstborn for every container of red sauce they hand out! Why is it SO HARD to just get the number I ask for? I actually use ALL of them. I have said I would pay for them but they would rather just short me so I don't realize until I get home and run out of salsa that they decided to not just give me the number I specifically ask for! PLEASE GO BACK TO LETTING PEOPLE GET THEIR OWN SALSA WHEN THEY GO INSIDE!!!!
REVIEW FROM 2021: I have been going to this Fili B's for years, but they have one particular employee who is just NOT customer service oriented and she always gives me fewer salsa cups than I ask for. I have never had a problem with anyone else there and I always enjoy the food, but the "problem" employee doesn't speak at the drive-thru window except to ask if I want sauce, and then when I give the exact number I would like, she always shorts the sauce by one or two. So... I began asking for more than I need just to make sure I have enough (this was before I realized that it is a problem for just one employee - she is very protective of the red sauce!). Once I realized only a single employee would give less sauce than requested, I went back to asking for the amount I actually need and things have been fine. I made the mistake of not recognizing her when I got my food last night (though her lack of words should have reminded me) and I asked for the actual amount I needed. Lo and behold, when I got home there were 2 less than I had requested. I usually just don't eat any more of the food once I run out of sauce, but this time I drove back to get the 2 sauces she didn't give me and she couldn't have been more rude even though I was very nice about it. And when I finally got to the drive-thru window, she grabbed her personal drink and drank some and then fiddled with a few things and then finally opened the window, looked at me and said nothing. I had told her at the speaker that I had just ordered a little bit ago and just needed to get 2 red sauce. After a few seconds of her just standing at the window and saying nothing, I again said I just needed two red sauce. Then she pulled them out of the bowl, handed then to me and closed the window never saying one word. If she hates her job or hates people, or both, she needs to move on but I shouldn't have to change the way I order because she doesn't think I need that much salsa or she doesn't want to have to fill more cups or whatever the reason is. In the past, I said if there was an issue with the number of sauces, I would just pay for more, but I, as usual, got no response and she just handed a few more sauces to me with no words and closed the window. It sounds petty to me as I write this, but I promise I am a super easy, polite and diligent customer who knows how to order as well as be patient and pleasant. I also love their food and all of the other staff are great. Unfortunately, I am done worrying about having to realize who is working before I ask for the sauce and I don't want the food without the sauce (nor do I want to waste it by deliberately asking for more than I need), so I decided to write this review and take a break from this place for at least a few months. While I will miss their food, I'm sure my body will thank me and maybe she will be gone if/when I return...
Read moreIf there was a way to do no stars I would. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I got home with my order and they gave me the wrong one. I drove all the way back to get the correct order and they actually charged me the additional cost of my order from the one they gave me by mistake. I drove completely out of my way to go back for a mistake they made, and they had the nerve to charge me the additional as if they didn’t do anything wrong. The person at the window said she heard me order a number 19 instead of a number 9. Well maybe she should have listened better and that wouldn’t have happened. I understand mistakes happen and honestly had they given better customer service in regard to their mistake and considered the fact that I drove all the way back, I wouldn’t be writing this poor review. Then on top of all of this, I pulled out of the drive thru and my order was incorrect again! I didn’t even go back because I would have just exploded. We have decided we are never going back to this one, and honestly we go there quite a bit. Probably not gonna make a dent in their revenue but if you are hoping for a correct order and a group of employees who will own up if they make a mistake, this is not the place for you to go. There are plenty of other Mexican food places you can get the same food from. I hope management considers this and educates their employees on doing right by the customer...
Read moreI had a really poor experience here. Surprising because I never have anything bad to say about Filibertos...but this time was terrible. My boyfriend ordered me a breakfast burrito through Postmates. After getting home with it I took my first bite and immediately started crunching on raw potatoes. I took another bite thinking maybe it was just a bad bite and the rest would be fine but it absolutely wasn't. I bit into more raw potatoes. So, I call the restaurant and they initially tell me to call Postmates for a refund. Um what did Postmates have to do with this? I ask the lady "You can't just remake my burrito?" She goes...um I don't think so, let me ask. After hearing her go back and forth with someone in the background as if making things right ACTUALLY needs to be discussed...she finally says ok come back we'll make you another. After a 15 minute drive I pick up another burrito...cool...didn't actually have time to eat it because the day was super busy for me so I saved it for later...just to find ANOTHER burrito with raw potatoes...AND eggshell. So disgusted, and this experience is absolutely unexceptable. Do better Filibertos. When you make a mistake, FIX IT RIGHT AWAY...AND DO...
