Happy Joe Coffee — Restaurant in Tempe

Breakfast sandwich and coffee were good. The avocado toast not so much. Avocados were too ripe Staff was nice and polite. My problem was with waiting time and accuracy of orders. Not sure if they are short staff, but there were only 2 girls working and a 3rd one came when it was really busy. I ordered a brown butter toffee coffee , avocado toast in jalapeño bagel and breakfast sandwich.

Waited 40 minutes for the breakfast sandwich. I keep seeing that people's orders after us were ready and had to ask for my order. The avocado bagel order was wrong and cold by the time they gave us the other sandwich,but I took it because I had timed tickets for an event 1 hour away and I was going to be late. They don't seem organized. Ppl keep getting only half of their order and having to wait for the rest, while the ppl after them would also get only part of their order. I feel bad for the girls, they seem very stressed and I know they were doing their best. Owner should...

It's a cute coffee shop, though tiny and can be a little awkward being in line to order or wait for the drinks. We tried two specialty drinks; the honeycomb and pumpkin nitro coldbrew. It wasn't quite busy but it took 10 minutes to get the honey comb and then we waited for a bit longer for the other. Most people who came in after us were getting their drinks so my friend went to check on his and they said they had run out. It was just frustrating that they had watched us wait for the second drink for so long and instead of mentioning that they had run out once they noticed they decided to wait until we went to check...

Just noticed this place and I live close enough to bike over to it - coffee is lovely and a good price and nice seating inside and outside (near ASU is always good for people watching). I'll be back - just a lovely location for a coffee shop and so much easier to bike there as you don't have to worry about parking. I will admit, my inner nerd did love the Marvel Superhero and Villain mural on the inside wall...
