Neon Spur — Restaurant in Tempe

I used to love coming to Neon Spur — it was one of my go-to spots for a good time and great vibes. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a letdown. I went with two friends, and despite it being our very first stop of the night, we were denied drinks by multiple bartenders for being "too intoxicated." We were genuinely sober and just there to enjoy the night. It felt unfair and a bit insulting to be dismissed like that without any real explanation. I understand bars have to be cautious, and I respect that — but this felt like a misjudgment. Hoping this was just a one-off situation, because I used to really enjoy the atmosphere here. But based on this experience, I’m not sure if I’ll be back...

I have been a regular for months. Never any drama inside, good variety music, country, classic rock, modern pop, some rap...music people are singing along to. Easy to talk to people. I just drink beer and its cheaper here than other places on Mill. Relaxed dress code. Bartenders have no experience , waited at the bar during a about 11pm Friday for about 20 minutes no attention no service either.
