BRING BACK YOUR INDOOR MENU! What genius thought it would be a good idea to take down the Taco Bell menu inside the restaurant when it was renovated!? You know... not everyone wants to do EVERYTHING on a computerized device. Some of us still want to enjoy the dining experience... even if it is at a fast food restaurant. I worry more about elderly people... who aren't used to smart phones and kiosks... that depend on browsing the usual menu before deciding what to order. Many will probably just walk out. I was even uncomfortable having to navigate the kiosk, but didn't end up having to, because of the photo I saw on it advertising their Game Day Box which included CHICKEN WINGS! Wait... what!? Chicken wings at Taco Bell?? So I ordered the 5 piece with one container of their ranch dipping sauce. While the wings are not my favorite Buffalo style wings, they are very delicious, but very mild. What made the wings especially good is how CRISPY they are. You really need at least two sauces for the 5 wings, in my opinion. I later ordered a container of their Avocado Ranch sauce, which I like a little more than their regular ranch, and the manager gave it to me... so I didn't have to pay for it, which was very nice of her... and why I'm giving 4 stars. Read moreRUDE employees. Used to be surly teenagers, but now they have far creepier characters working there. Low quality food, too, with products not made correctly. Look at all the negative reviews. They're from real people. The high ratings have to be from corporate bots, and if you've been here regularly, it's obvious. I've been going regularly for almost 18 months since I moved to the area, but tonight was so bad that I'll never go back. The young girl at the first window was polite, but she seemed weirdly tense, like she was freaked out. At the second window, an incredibly rude guy just gave me a sour, conceited look and shoved the bag at me without a word. It was CREEPY. To the point that I worried about my food. The food turned out to be fine, thankfully.
But the employee's behavior was ridiculously rude and unacceptable. He was also dirty and unkempt-looking. There are other details about him that I can't mention without getting censored, for those of you can read between lines. But I was taken aback to have an order just shoved at me without a single word, no smile, no interaction, and that proud expression on his face. What an uncivilized brute!
Places of business need to start hiring competent people. Putting characters like this in customer service loses them customers. I will be taking my business to Del Taco from now on, since they treat customers with respect. They're even cheaper. Taco Bell has dropped my old favorites from the menu, anyway, and is getting more expensive. The bigwigs also make VERY unsavory corporate donations. Time to consign the Bell to history...
Read moreHad come through drive through, waited for well over 2 minutes without any greeting, and I had to say “Hello” to get their attention to take my order, and in the process the Gentleman kept putting me on hold and was being incompetent with the customer service, I had to pull out of the drive through because he was not even helping me out with my order at all, had to go inside to get my order taken care of and when I came in the restaurant and the guy in drive-thru started arguing with me saying they have to follow a script and saying “we have to follow a script, we can’t great the customers anymore, and the high schoolers that come into the restaurant we don’t treat like customers we have to treat them like children. First off I’m well over 25 and secondly that was the worst service I have ever had at the place and I will never go back there and will let everyone I know to avoid that location until he is gone from that location. The other gentleman that helped me out at the counter was a big help but the one running the drive thru was rude and inconsiderate and needs a lesson on customer service and said if he did not follow the script then they would fail Core.
