I like this location. They always serve fresh HOT food and they get you in and out fast. They never seem to forget the little things or maybe big things depending on how you roll ........ But I am referring to taco sauce, napkins and straws. Nice to get to where you are going to sit down and eat and not only have everything you ordered but also have all the tools required to finish the job without any extra efforts. This location just seems to be on top of things compared to some of the other locations in Tempe.....
** Continued Bonus Material In reference to " other Tempe locations". More Specifically ...... THE APACHE & RURAL LOCATION
If I were to say this particular location "Tends to go against the grain with things". You would want to know with regards to what? and I would respond " EVERYTHING! " and so unprofessional to boot... I understand they are pretty much on college campus and are almost the only game in town come the wee hours and sucks sometimes to deal with the boozers come 1:30 to last call. I really do understand all of that. Been there done that and can dismiss poor attitude and or not being on your game here and there but 24/7 horrible decisions and basically seeming to purposely drag feet spite the fact there are cars lined up out on to Rural Rd. going past Apache Blvd. often times and with a packed store full of people standing around waiting for orders. You Don't Make Customers Wait 25 Minutes to an Hour to collect their Order!!! Keep the front line Open 24/7 and dedicate the backline to drive thru only then make your runner not only hand out orders and answer questions on eta but have that position drop back and ensure all meat and beans and cheese ect ... are filled so no one has to leave the lines. You are not a traditional location. Where you worked before or how other locations do it MATTERS NOT. Know your customer base and apply effective and efficient procedures relative to your location and spread cleaning/closing duties amongst everyone equally and make sure more than one person is on dishes so it doesn't take as long and everybody can leave on time. Also, for the love of Pete sake Yo! Positive reinforcement and get after it for once. The customers didn't pick graveyard shift for you and they certainly didn't make you choose that location. I bet with the right adjustments you could double your numbers and have your employees clocking out on time minus the regular lip service and poor attitude. Remember S**t rolls down hill!! Lead by example while delegating respectfully but mean it and appreciate the great efforts. Good work ethic and positive attitudes can spread like . . .... Used to say wildfire but goin with Viruses in honor of times and in support of truth, facts and reality front and center and above any and all because it is ..... What it is ..... Not what you wish it to be...
Read moreI have put this off for quite some time now, but I have courageously decided to come forward and share my story. I was trapped in the drive-thru at this particular Taco Bell location on a random Friday night this summer for over an hour. That is by no means an exaggeration; I timed it. It is also important to note that there were only three cars ahead of me when I entered the line. By the time the black sedan entered the line behind me, I knew that I had made a grave mistake.
After approximately 40 minutes of stationary confinement, I made it to the window, where I waited roughly 10 minutes before a man appeared to take my payment, and then another 10 to 15 minutes before returning with my hard-earned food. Apparently, in situations like this—literally being imprisoned in a drive-thru line for an hour—Taco Bell's generosity only extends about as far as a $1.20 military discount for your inconvenience. While I would normally decline such an offer out of disdain for stolen valor, I felt that my experience that night earned me some of my own.
When I finally made it home with my little brown bag of beef, cheese, and highly processed flour tortillas, I was predictably let down when it became evident that my Taco Supremes were far from supreme; both of them were, to nobody's surprise, soggy and stale, despite one of them being entirely void of sour cream (my favorite). I was wholly eviscerated when I discovered that my request for a few packets of "fire sauce" had not been honored. This was, beyond all reasonable doubt, the worst and most shocking service experience I have had in my 22 long, well-seasoned years, and teetering on the edge...
Read moreI come to this taco bell all the time because I live right around the corner from there. But I kid you not I won't even say ALMOST everytime it IS EVERYTIME I go in to that taco bell I'm ALWAYS missing something OR ANOTHER. So I don't feel like driving or going back I try and call. And EVERY TIME I get on the phone to call them it rings and rings and rings and rings. So if I want my items replaced or refunded then I have to get in my car and drive back there. Today I went in and ate there because taco bell is by far my favorite fast food chain to eat at. I ordered 3 chalupas, 3 burrito Supremes, 3 cheesy bean and rice burritos, 2 orders of the chips and nacho cheese and a large drink. I ended up with a medium drink, 2 chalupas, 1 burrito supreme, 4 cheesy bean and rice burritos, 2 monster gordito crunchs and an order of the cinnamon twists. I thought there was a screen that shows what order has what in it. I'm disappointed in this Taco Bell it used to be my favorite but now they are pushing me away each and everytime I go there. I also got a little bit of an attitude from the much younger employees that work there just because I had something wrong with my order. They have always made it right in the past but it's becoming consistent and happening every visit. My last order I told you about has not been made right made right because of the calling issue. They let it ring and ring and no one ever answers. So if that can be made right I would very much appreciate it. Thanks...
