Went to Yard house with the family on a Saturday afternoon. It was really busy with a bit of a wait but it didn't matter because there were games to play (Cornhole, Table Tennis and Shuffleboard) while waiting. It was very busy but the atmosphere was wonderful!
As far as the food... it was delicious! I highly recommend the grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Shrimp Salad. The only reason I give this place a 4 instead of a 5 was because our server, Alexa, was irritatingly inattentive to our table most of the time. She was very attentive to the table next to us and was constantly checking to make sure they were ok. We literally had to flag down other waitresses to get drinks at times. I understand being busy but you can still stop by and let us know that you haven't forgotten us and you see that all our glasses are empty so you will get right back to us as quickly as possible. Her service to our table was really bad.
But overall I would definitely come back to this place often! Seems like a cool happy hour spot with great drinks and games. All the other servers, hostesses and employees we met...
Read moreI pulled into the parking lot with my grandmother and daughter and the two boys that came up to my window were extremely rude to my mother and granddaughter. They tried rushing them out of the car and kept saying we're in a rush we don't have time to talk and they don't have a clue that my grandmother cannot move very fast her bones are very brittle and she is the sweetest lady you will ever meet and they treated her like she was garbage. My daughter tried intervening in the situation and they told her to stay out of it it has nothing to do with her. I will never go to the yard in Tempe ever again so long as they have valet is there. They're college kids that just care about getting drunk working few hours and doing as little as they possibly can. I would ask for a free refund or a free meal the next time I go there but it was such a bad experience that you couldn't pay me to go eat at that facility again. I do believe the company's name is...
Read moreIt's a pretty cool place with an eclectic ambiance, popular for young families with kids, hipsters, college crowd. I sat outdoors and they tried to keep it cool with misters and fans but it was still toasty. I went with a group for a party and it was hard to have a conversation with anyone other than the person I was sitting next to because it was so loud with background noise. When the live band came on I was glad I had ear plugs (for the volume, not because they were bad). It had a lot of fun activities outside like ping pong and bags. Other than not being able to carry a conversation without yelling it was a good experience. I was not able to have the food because of multiple allergies. If you have one allergy they may be able to help you, but I would forget it with multiple. My server tried to get me something that would have made me very sick had I not googled ingredients...
