Estella's Food — Restaurant in Temple

I'm a very picky person!!!& that i can't make up my mind!(picky i am giving 5 star's!) she was so nice to explain things (their English is not the best time when you call on the phone sometimes young kid answers the phone) but in person she gave me a sample (so nice and kind) and it was so good quality of meat! blew me away!!!!!! u can tell her and the other lady (maybe her mom)? puts a lot attention of detail into there food! I orderd the birria Taco plate and was impressed the quality of the meat is really good not cheap gristly fatty meat at some places that use birria meat. of course she's stuffed it with cheese as well. and I saw her when she was grilling the taco she put a sauce on it so the tacos are more authentic and birra tacos! (unfortunately a lot of places skip that step and just put meat in a dry corn shell) no...she grill's it with sauce to add flavor and texture to the taco onside as well!! the meat was not spicy at all (kinda of a bummer) BUT she does give you an interesting spicy salsa/sauce in a little bag twisted up(i thought was really a near idea!) and these amazing pickled like onions. although the meat didn't have a tremendous amount of spice and flavor...it was quality! not cheap faty gresy meat i have sadly had at other places. or pathetic little strand's..no there was lovely beef shreds again quality!😍 I definitely want to go back and try the steak and other tacos. the food truck it's not in the best location. but who cares as long as the food it self is good! there bierra pizza is a little expensive but I want to try it one day! maybe it would be good to share wirh 4 people or something? i want to try all there food!! she won me over & i can honestly say is the 2nd best bierra tacos i have ever had!(1st best is not around anymore) so now is my #1 go to when i want bierra tacos! my only complaint is i wish they had a little more spice/flavor & maybe what ever she grill's shells with (red sauce?) add more? But im still going back only to her for whenever i want bierra tacos from now on👍👍 (will drive there & i dont even live in temple!)can't wait to try ALL her...

Estellas won't disappoint you! If you want authentic, you'll get it at Estellas. Estellas foods are full of flavor, juicy, spicy(if ordered) and will fill you up! You'll leave tummy full and happy! Her food comes off fresh and hot, so be careful on that first bite!

Berria taco plate comes with 3 juicy birria cheese tacos, soup and fixings. These are the best tacos here!

Berria Quesadilla comes with soup and fixings. This dish was oh so juicy cheesy good! And it was not a small Quesadilla.

I also ordered the gordita with carnitas. This is all made from scratch! You won't regret ordering it. The outside was crispy yet moist and didn't fall apart.

Estellas food truck not only won our bellies, but our hearts as well. She makes you feel welcomed and her food definitely comforts you having you leave very happy and full. You won't regret coming to Estellas. We definitely will be...

My family and I tried Estella's Food for the first time last night. After munching on the 20 taco plate, we all agreed, they were some of the best tacos around. Homemade flavor, fresh ingredients... I could eat here every day if I could.

The ladies cut ZERO corners on the preparation. Other places I've eaten at the chicken is dry, the beef/ pork is greasy, and they use too much salt. As for the service, the young host that took our order was professional and very knowledgeable. There was a miscommunication on one orders. The host confirmed my order. But his writing must have read chicken or something. Everything was taken care of, no problem, and they made me what I ordered. My only recommendation would be some cement wall ((funded by the City, of course)) due to the proximity of the road to the dining area.

I'd highly recommend giving the place a try and supporting...
