Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Terre Haute

Update: Went in rhis time instead of getting delivery. The meats are fresh sliced but lack any distinctive flavor. Turkey, ham and roast beef all tasted alike. I asked for no onion and as I looked away to answer the cashier, I turned back to see the guy had added onion. I reminded him of my request. He took them off the sandwich and put them back in the tub! Cross contamination issue! The cheese steak once again had very little cheese even after extra was requested. The steak tasted of onion and jalapeños, nothing else. Overall a disappointment for $28.

Slow and sloppy preparation. Delivery took approximately 15 minutes longer than estimated. As for the sandwiches, the distribution of the ingredients was not well done. All of the meat was in the middle, leaving a large portion of just bread at the ends. The "cheese steak" needed more cheese to earn the name and there wasn't much flavor. The Italian sandwich had the same distribution issues. Additionally, the oil vinegar on the sandwich was all at one end, leaving a mushy, vinegar sandwich with no meat. This is not a complaint about the service. The workers were fine. They were friendly and did their jobs. My complaint and low rating is the fact that I just spent dam near 20 bucks for a roast beef sandwich and not one bite of it could I taste and roast beef (let alone cheese). The only thing I could taste is the mountain of lettuce that was piled on it. I don't blame the employees I blame the corporate leadership because they are the ones that make the call on the sandwich making process to be handed out to the stores.. This place could be a great alternative to Subway but as long as they slice paper thin meat and cheese to fool customers into thinking they are getting more than they are getting, I won't be back. To add salt in the eye. Their fountain drinks are 3 dollars. Really? What's it actually cost to make a fountain drink in 2025? Like 32 cents?? 3 bucks!!

When went in on the 31st around 4:30 there were no customers in line so I stood at the counter for 5 minutes and was totally ignored no one greeted me or acknowledged me the zombie at the register kept staring at me but didn't let anyone know I was there finally the short older lady finally spoke to me as if I had done something wrong I told her I thought I was invisible 4 people looked at me but didn't offer to help me no apology nothing she just asked what do you want seriously what do I want obviously I was there to get a sandwich I was totally disappointed my sandwich was good but the staff is horrible the floors had not been swept at all used napkins on the floor under 3 tables and the zombie at the register didn't move at all the whole time I was there she just kept staring at me I never felt so uncomfortable in a place ever I rate my...
