The boy at the counter gave real attitude… the boy Joel who also works there is nice but the other one … not so nice My daughters never been to Teterboro before Tuesday was her first day entering the city exploring the restaurants around it and I’m glad the people are welcoming her into the city. My daughter is new to the job but was so nervous running the main cashier because she thought she would mess up but then realized she was doing okay.. because she has so much experience since she was working since she was 10 years old! Please don’t mistake her for being a guy just because she has short hair … I hate when people do that .. Graffiti on the bathroom wall? You have to seriously pay 50 cents extra for some sauce? I’m absolutely shocked she’s the only female working there.. they’re really counting on my daughter!!! My daughter absolutely loves this place she’s happy to serve costumers with a smile even tho she’s anxious … packing orders is a little bit new to her but she understand the priority of the job witch is a good thing.. she’s been a host for more then 7 years threw out other company’s of the restaurants. ever since she has gotten this job she’s been thankful every day to be making money and meeting new people and seeing new faces .. The only problem is is when it’s dark outside and when the doors are locked my daughter has a hard time seeing the figure of the person because she’s so far in the back of the store it’s not her fault she can’t see someone that’s usually the males job because she handles the cashier and other people around her and she watches the restaurant to make sure everyone is safe!! That’s her job!! Is to make sure people are safe and runs the main cashier … Khriss This is your mother…. Love you Khriss hope you have a fun time next week at work . I’m glad everyone welcomed you on your first day of the job! I’m proud of you Khriss ❤️ congratulations…. The food was very amazing the chicken was absolutely good! Good luck to the whole...
Read moreMall food court food without the madness of fighting mall crowds and looking for parking? Count me in.
Teriyaki chicken is one of my favorite food court options, and this is where my husband and I come whenever the craving hits. Both here and in most food courts, I've found that it's best to stick to the tried and true. Yes, there are other proteins. Yes, they have bento boxes and sushi rolls. Yes, there are other things on the menu. But if you order those, prepare to be disapointed because in my experience, nothing compares to the consistency and the quality of the chicken teriyaki. It's the highlight item and what the kitchen is regularly cooking and churning out, which - to me - kind of guarantees the freshness and quality.
We've made countless visits since we moved to the area, and our meals are always satisfying. I personally love the little bits of char on some of the chicken here (which I've noticed other and quieter Sarku locations don't do - are the grills hotter here?).
For those interested in deals, they have a stamp card for frequent customers so that you can get a free chicken teriyaki entree after six visits. I find this to be extremely reasonably compared to other loyalty rewards that require you to make far more return trips to get anything back. If you don't mind downloading (yet another) restaurant app, I've heard there are more deals and discounts to be had.
We love that there's plenty of seating, though tables and seats aren't always as clean as we'd like. This Sarku is located in a complex with tons of restaurants (not to mention a Costco right behind), so the parking lot can get a little busy around mealtimes and weekends but we've never struggled to...
Read morel will be as direct as possible without any exaggeration, I've been to the Teterboro Landing location a few times. I don't expect a lot from these types of quick eateries. My visit yesterday afternoon was the absolute worst, l'm standing at the counter waiting for my order to be made but the cashier is just standing there. Literally looking over me so I greeted him to get his attention, he literally turn his back to me. I demanded his attention so I raised my voice and said can I get some service ? You can't make this stuff up- he points up at the menu and says what number. I have to share this experience as I was stunned, l selected a meal to dine in for the cost of 13 dollars. I was given the meal without it being placed on a serving tray five miniature size shrimp and a very small amount of chicken protein on top of what is supposed to have been Soba noodle. I refused to take the meal and demanded a refund, and he seemed to be more than willing to refund me and did so expeditiously - indicative of me not being welcomed and or wanted at this location. I will say it plainly this clearly prejudice behavior being displayed by the working staff i.e. the cashier and the cooking crew. Spend your money elsewhere (if you know you know) don't perpetuate this type of interaction from any business for...
