I ordered a salad and after eating half of the salad I discovered a dead fly in my food. My initial reaction was shock, disgust and I was also upset that my favorite fast food restaurant had let me down. I went to the counter to address the situation. I spoke with the assistant manager and he offered to remake the salad and refund me my money back. At that point I did not want another salad but I did want my money back. I also wanted to speak with a higher up manager just so that I could inform them of what had happened and so this could never happen again. He pointed to a woman in the dining area who was talking with someone else and said she is our GM. I will inform her and let her know that you would like to talk. He came back shortly with another assistant manager and told me that she did not want to speak and that he should go find someone else to solve the problem. So at this point I felt like my concern was getting brushed off because I am black and she did not want to deal with a black woman and her concerns. So then I proceeded to walk to her and patiently waited for her to finish her conversation. When she finished I addressed her, and she responded with a laugh and said “That's Gross” with a huge smile on her face and proceeded to tell me she was aware and all she could do was give me a refund. When she laughed in my face she showed me that she had no regards to my concerns. I was honestly quite humiliated, because had I not been paying attention I could have eaten that bug and her response to that was to laugh in my face. She said her name was Nina but I'm not sure because she did not have a name tag. She was small and petite and very insensitive. She did refund me my money, but never apologized or anything. All I got from her was a laugh in my face. I feel like if I was a customer of a lighter color. She would have come and spoke with me immediately to address my concerns but instead I got blown off and laughed at. So thank you Nina and Chick Fil A for ruining my fast...
Read moreHi! I've always loved CHick-fil-a but tonight I am extremely impressed by the quality of service and caring this store on Sawdust Rd at 5:45ish pm 1/13/17 provided me. Over the last week I've been under the weather. Yesterday my voice started to go and today it was gone completely. Went to another fast food place for my son and thought I would swing through chick fil a and grab an ice cream cone to soothe my sore throat. I went inside because the drive through wasn't exactly efficient from my end since I can hardly make a noise above a whisper. Walked up to the counter greeted by smiling, welcoming faces. The young man who took my order quickly realized my issue. I Asked if I could have just an ice cream cone. He said "oh yes ma'am I'm sorry about your voice" his coworker next to him asked if I had a sore throat and also apologized. The young man, who I failed to get his name, said "just an ice cream cone? Ma'am don't worry about it, that's on me!" And again apologized for how I was feeling. All of the employees were so thoughtful and caring, each wishing me to feel better. I am blown away by the kindness this employee showed us. I haven't been to many Chick-fil-A but this store has a wonderful moral and the employees are really amazing going above and beyond. I also suffer from severe food allergies and Chick-fil-A is one of the few chains that don't sell fish, sesame seeds or cinnamon anything so I will be coming more often!! I wish I had gotten their names but I wanted to extend my appreciation and gratitude, especially to the young man who helped me and I wanted to give recognition to his Christ like performance. Though an ice cream cone may seem a small token it was the care involved that made it such a huge gesture for me. Best ice cream cone ever!

Read moreOverall the quality of the food and service at this Chick-fil-A is good. The staff are always friendly, and the food itself is good.
So why 3 stars? The portions have become ridiculously small vs cost. Chick-fil-A recently updated their website with a message that basically reads “due to chicken shortages some items may be unavailable or prepared differently”. Apparently prepared differently means less chicken, for the same price. Two of the last three chicken deluxe sandwiches I’ve purchased have been more crust than chicken. And the one that was prepared as normal, was only because I mentioned the previous issue when ordering. It now seems the chicken breast are halved and flatted. As I’m sure everyone remembers it used to be a whole un flattened breast. I’ve seen the same with the salads and chicken strips, all containing far less chicken than before. But, the price remains the same? So effectively, we’re now paying more for less chicken, or the same price for less chicken. However you want to look at it. At the end of the day, it’s still far less chicken without an adjustment to the price. Other non-Chick-fil-A restaurants in the area, have had similar notices about shortages. They just didn’t change their portions or how the meals are prepared, with them it’s either available or it isn’t. And other restaurants have also seemed to work past the worst of the shortages, where they’re rarely out of a dish. While I understand Chick-fil-A’s intentions in rationing chicken to serve as many people as possible. I don’t understand, why they didn’t adjust their prices to reflect the changes. It’s feels more greedy than I’m sure the original...
