This location is so inconsistent. Except when it comes to mobile orders; they are consistently pretty terrible at it. Half of the time you sit at the window for over 5 minutes before anyone acknowledges you. Pro tip, announce you are there at the speaker before going to the window if there isn’t anyone in drive-thru line. Today I did a mobile order and they gave me my food then asked me to pull up to the next window. I ate my breakfast taco and watched 3 cars behind me get their complete orders and leave. While I still waited for my cold brew. At 10:45a, not a super busy time. So, I had to go in to ask for it. About a third of the time when I order food in the app they have to refund me when I get there because they don’t have what I ordered. That’s a fiasco in itself because even tho you can pay with a Dunkin gift card in the app, they require you to present the credit card your purchased the gift card with in order to do the refund. Something else that irks me is that they have a rack for mobile orders but they keep everything behind the counter. So you still have to wait to be helped to get your drink. Seriously if you don’t want to spend 20 minutes here do not go. And nobody says hi, you’re welcome or thank you or anything pleasant at the speaker. When they first opened this location they must have had experienced people come help open cause they were friendly and competent. Another pro tip, take a drink before pulling away, a handful of times they forget the Splenda and you can’t tell by looking at it. I want to like them so much because I’m not a fan of St*rbux but they really make it hard. If it weren’t for the app rewards I would...
Read moreI went to Dunkin' Donuts at 1301 North Park Drive in Kingwood on 11.12.22 to redeem my 1,038 points that I had accumulated in the Dunkin' Donuts app. I ordered my premium drink, and added a sandwich, then submitted the order. While inside the store, I asked the young lady behind the counter if she had received the order, and she replied NO. So I canceled the order. The app took my 900 points for the premium drink and gave me NOTHING. I consider this to be fraud, and will turn this over to the authorities at the FTC. Needless to say I am finished with Dunkin' donuts and the $90 you have to spend to get a free drink. It's sad that they don't train their employees on the use of the app. Save your money, and go to Starbucks instead.
UPDATE 11.29.22 - DD NEVER returned my pojnts, and once they read my feedback and latest review, they stoped the functionality of the app, forcing me to uninstal the app. But that's okay because I copied every page available, and included it with my report to the Federal Trade Commission. If they were smart, they would have contacted me to try to work things out, rather than discontinuing the...
Read moreOrdered (1) regular iced coffee and (1) decaf iced coffee with (2) two everything bagels toasted with cream cheese. After ordering was advised they are making a fresh batch of decaf because they currently have none, advised we will take both regular iced coffee. Waited 10 minutes… one bagel was everything bagel (exactly what we ordered) but burnt, the other bagel was plain bagel missing the cream cheese (not what we ordered).
Born and raised in Chicago, we love DD. But this wouldn’t be acceptable in Chicago. We’ve been here a handful of times since grand opening and figured during the grand opening phase that they are working out kinks / due to influx of clients but it seems like it hasn’t improved. I would recommend investing in training and time management. The employees were friendly… it’s just spending 10 minutes waiting on a small order and to not get it right…. It makes no sense when the store was slow on a Sunday Afternoon while...
