This was my first Freddy's experience. My husband and I both ordered the bacon double combo, mine with no pickles and his with no onions, and I got a regular size Signature Turtle Sundae and my husband got the mini vanilla sundae. It took us a little while to get to the window. Once we got there, the girl at the window greeted us with a friendly smile, took our money, and handed us our drinks and sundaes. Afterwards, we waited at the window for about 6-8 minutes. We started to panic as our sundaes started to melt. We sat there wishing they had given them to us at the same time they gave the food. We rushed home, as we live about 12 minutes from the restaurant, and we wanted to get our sundaes to the freezer so they could be rescued. While our sundaes chilled in the fridge, we opened up our food, and everything was correct with our order. Our fries, of course, were not as fresh as we would have liked, and had turned a little stale, but they were pretty tasty, as I grabbed some out of the bag on our way home. The steak burger was the star of this meal. I really loved the perfectly seasoned meat, and the whole sliced onions tasted great on the burger. The bacon was cooked perfectly, but the burger could've used another slice or two. Now for the frozen custard sundaes... First of all, I ordered the regular size thinking the mini was going to be too small, I was so wrong. The mini would've been perfect for me, but since the custard kept its original texture and flavor after being refrozen in the freezer, I had no problem putting it back in the freezer to save for later. The Turtle sundae was excellent, and I am now a frozen custard fan, as I had never had frozen custard before. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. The food was good and the staff was friendly. May have taken a minute at the drive through, but for the most part, the food was hot, fresh,...
Read moreI took the family out to eat here, mainly because it was one of only 3 or 4 places all the teenagers agreed upon. A young man named Devin took our order. He was very courteous and polite, always smiling as he explained the difference between the menu options. There were 7 of us and he didn't get a single order wrong. Kudos to the cooks who put our order together (which included Devin) as well... nothing over or under done and the additions, such at lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions, were the right amounts.
The hamburgers here are called steakburgers and the patties are thinner than you'd expect and they have crispy edges. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you order a double meat or larger. Single patty burgers might work for smaller appetites.
The fries here are shoestring type and cooked to a golden brown. A little crunch in them but not overly crisp to where you lose the potato flavor. An addition to the fries is their signature fry sauce that comes in either regular or jalapeño. I, personally, am not a fan of the fry sauce ... I prefer ketchup and/or mayonnaise.
The ice cream here is called custard, as Devin reminded me when I ordered it. Some people can tell the difference but unfortunately, I am not in that crowd. But, if you like ice cream after a meal, I'm pretty sure that Freddy's custard will not disappoint.
All in all, I think this place is a great burger place to appease your appetite. And if your lucky enough to have your order taken by Devin, you can rest assured, he'll get it right! As Arnold said,...
Read moreThis is the worst Freddy's I have ever been to. I went to this store on 7/3/25. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with only the meat, chz, bacon, mayo, and fry sauce. My bf ordered a burger with only meat and ketchup. We clarified with the young lady at the window to make sure our orders were correct. Well his burger had all of the veggies on it and mine was missing bacon. We then went inside for them to fix the burgers and I explained to a young lady what was wrong and I spelled it out for her while showing her our receipt. My boyfriend’s burger then came back even more wrong. They kept all of the veggies on and added cheese. Besides one older lady who was very nice to us everyone else we spoke to was rude and interrupted us. Also even though they ended up fixing my burger, it was easily the nastiest burger I have ever had from a Freddy’s. My bf also ordered a Dr Pepper and whatever he received tasted nothing like Dr Pepper so they either gave him the wrong drink or have not changed the syrup. I have worked in the service industry for 5 years now and in my experience it is very hard to mess up a burger with only meat...
