The staff was very friendly and very helpful on my first visit and gave me great tips on what they preferred and what they enjoyed. Despite being extremely busy, the food came out very quick. The food was hot and flavorful. I enjoyed the fresh bean sprouts in the pho and the Vietnamese egg rolls were crisp and fresh, very delicious. I wasn’t keen on the oil that went with it, but that’s simply my own taste preference... though despite my dislike of the oil it did enhance the flavor of the egg rolls well. I will be visiting again, next time I come through town. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice bowl of pho.

Presentation 10/10. Taste & flavor 1/5. I ordered the “pick two combo - com dac biet” for takeout and was so disappointed when I got home. I ordered shrimp and beef. 4 pieces of shrimp compared to the amount of beef they served seemed ridiculous. Also 1 shrimp tail on but 3 tail off? Not consistent with their food. The beef was super dry; looks black like it’s over cooked. I felt like I was chewing on cardboard it was so dry. I paid extra for an egg that was over cooked — yolk wasn’t runny. Also paid $1.50 for an egg roll that was so small it was the size of my thumb. I added peanut sauce and that wasn’t provided.

Drove 10 hrs on I 10 West. Looking for some good authentic vietnamese food. We seen that there was this place right off of 10 west. So we decided to give it a try. It is some of the best authentic vietnamese food that I have had. Spring rolls were nice size. The dipping sauce was made with the right flavor. The Pho was right on target also. The drinks were good. Thai tea and Lychee tea. Very tasty! The service was good all. One of the servers stayed and spoke with us for a few minutes. This is a great Mom and Pop place. I would give it a try.

This is a review about the male manager and male server. Both need lots of training in punctuality and attentiveness.

We enter, sit down and we let the server know we'd like 4 waters. 20 minutes and a few customers later, my wife calls the manager over and asks if we can get our waters because we have been waiting for 20 minutes and the customers after us have recieved their drinks. He apologizes and takes our order. 10 minutes later, still no waters. A few minutes later, a couple enters, sits down, server takes their drink order and gets their drinks. A tea and a soft drink. And we still haven't recieved our waters. I tell my family it's time to go. I walk up to the counter and inform the manager to cancel our order. He looks at me, points to the kitchen and tells me my order is almost ready. I inform him the last couple that entered recieved their drink order before us, that we have been waiting for well over 25 minutes and we still haven't recieved our waters. I again tell him to cancel our orders and walk out.

The establishment is clean and the food is good considering there's no competition in the area but when the female manager and the female server are working, both are very punctual and attentive.

FYI, we went to shogun's and recieved our drink and food orders in less time than the entire time we were at this...

We have been coming to this establishment since they first opened, with excellent service. Haven’t been here in a while, except today. Service was very childish. Appeared to have X 3 teenagers running the restaurant. We first had all three inquire what our drinks would be. Then a young man came in and drew the attention of our first waitress. We were waited on by the other two, when we received our meal, the music was repeated pop music. My son asked if they could change the trac? The young female waitress stated yeah. It was changed to a more repeated pop trac. As I watched the first waitress talk to the young man, the waiter came by and asked my son if there was anything else he could help him with, never asked me, and left. When he came back to the table he made sure to place the ticket next to me and left without saying anything. I grabbed the ticket and when I went to pay for our meal, the male waiter was grinning and looking at the female waitress, who was grinning back at him. I marked out the tip, and said you two think this is funny. He grinned and said what, and looked at the female waitress who was grinning back at him. I told him I would not be back to this establishment. Grow up and hire grownups to run your establishment! I didn’t pay to entertain these...

When I first moved to Baytown, this place was decent, not the best Vietnamese restaurant but for the location where I was at, I considered it my "go to" Viet restaurant. I ordered the same things over and over as I am not comfortable venturing out of my comfort zone with Vietnamese food once I have found what is good at a specific restaurant. The pho has gotten bland over time, the broth tasted straight up water and salt, no flavor, and the color of the soup was just black. At least that was my experience 2 weeks ago. I had pho from Pho House before, it wasn't anything great but at least it still had flavor. This time it was bad! My kids are not Vietnamese and they even commented: this soup tasted weird, not like before! I didn't believe them so I tried to taste the soup. Yup, bad!

That was for my kids. I ordered grilled pork vermicelli. Nope, no flavor, just bland. Talking about paying a fortune for the food just to not be happy with the quality. I ordered 4 pho, 1 vermicelli, and the cost was around $78, so roughly $15 a dish. I don't mind paying for good food but I have a problem paying for overpriced tasteless food.

Would not go back there anytime...
