If you’re looking for the best Asian fusion spot in Baytown, Dumpling Time absolutely delivers! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm and inviting, with friendly service and a menu packed with bold, flavorful options.
I tried their pork dumplings, chicken fried rice, and beef chow fun noodles—and every dish was on point. The dumplings were perfectly pan-seared on the outside and juicy on the inside, bursting with flavor. The fried rice had the right balance of seasoning and wok-char, while the noodles were silky, chewy, and coated in a savory sauce that tied everything together beautifully.
What makes this place stand out is how fresh everything tastes—you can really tell they make their dumplings and baos in-house. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food comes out hot and fast.
If you’re into Asian fusion and want something better than the typical takeout, this is the spot. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner with friends, Dumpling Time is easily a...
Read moreJust stopped here today for the first time on my way into work. They were fairly empty when I went in, so I wasn't sure at first, but I'm glad I stayed. I told the waiter I was on the clock since I still needed to get to work and he could bring everything as soon as it was ready, which he did and even had the check ready before I asked so that was very much appreciated. I ordered the chicken egg rolls and steamed spicy pork dumplings. Both items came out piping hot, the sauce with the eggrolls was a great touch and even the dish it was presented in made dipping the eggroll in it easy without getting it on my hands. The steamed dumplings are usually hit or miss with me, but these were absolutely perfect and very tasty. The only take back on them I'd say was they were not very spicy, but then I like my food to be on fire. All in all I will definitely be stopping in again to try some of the other dishes while I'm working in the area and need to grab a bite before starting the...
Read moreWould give it a negative star but can’t the waitress was horrible today and kept forgetting to put in half the order we had asked for, we had to wait 40 mins for a wonton soup and never got a refill on our drinks. We spent about 90$ on food and barley received service then when we go to leave she the waitress had the audacity to huff about the no tip she received , maybe if you only have 3 tables each one should receive attention it isn’t that hard , also called to speak with the manger but apparently she was the manger so we hung up , no point in wasting your time waiting for a waitress who should be waiting on you to receive money in exchange for her services . She clearly didn’t want to wait on us and had been asked multiple times for simple things like re fills on drinks. Also the soup was ordered as an appetizer in the beginning . Hopefully y’all can fix Jenny’s mistakes and she can learn ...
