If you’re looking for the best Asian fusion spot in Baytown, Dumpling Time absolutely delivers! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm and inviting, with friendly service and a menu packed with bold, flavorful options.

I tried their pork dumplings, chicken fried rice, and beef chow fun noodles—and every dish was on point. The dumplings were perfectly pan-seared on the outside and juicy on the inside, bursting with flavor. The fried rice had the right balance of seasoning and wok-char, while the noodles were silky, chewy, and coated in a savory sauce that tied everything together beautifully.

What makes this place stand out is how fresh everything tastes—you can really tell they make their dumplings and baos in-house. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food comes out hot and fast.

If you’re into Asian fusion and want something better than the typical takeout, this is the spot. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner with friends, Dumpling Time is easily a...

Just stopped here today for the first time on my way into work. They were fairly empty when I went in, so I wasn't sure at first, but I'm glad I stayed. I told the waiter I was on the clock since I still needed to get to work and he could bring everything as soon as it was ready, which he did and even had the check ready before I asked so that was very much appreciated. I ordered the chicken egg rolls and steamed spicy pork dumplings. Both items came out piping hot, the sauce with the eggrolls was a great touch and even the dish it was presented in made dipping the eggroll in it easy without getting it on my hands. The steamed dumplings are usually hit or miss with me, but these were absolutely perfect and very tasty. The only take back on them I'd say was they were not very spicy, but then I like my food to be on fire. All in all I will definitely be stopping in again to try some of the other dishes while I'm working in the area and need to grab a bite before starting the...

Would give it a negative star but can’t the waitress was horrible today and kept forgetting to put in half the order we had asked for, we had to wait 40 mins for a wonton soup and never got a refill on our drinks. We spent about 90$ on food and barley received service then when we go to leave she the waitress had the audacity to huff about the no tip she received , maybe if you only have 3 tables each one should receive attention it isn’t that hard , also called to speak with the manger but apparently she was the manger so we hung up , no point in wasting your time waiting for a waitress who should be waiting on you to receive money in exchange for her services . She clearly didn’t want to wait on us and had been asked multiple times for simple things like re fills on drinks. Also the soup was ordered as an appetizer in the beginning . Hopefully y’all can fix Jenny’s mistakes and she can learn ...

The people at Dumpling Time may have fooled all these uncultured people that have never had a dumpling in their life, but they haven’t fooled me. Average-tasting food at best. Their most popular item - pan fried pork buns - did not have a lot of filling. They were overly greasy and small. High prices. Long wait for a server to come to our table. I had to get a server’s attention just to be served. Minimal service provided throughout entire time. No utensils or napkins provided. No hand soap or toilet paper in the restrooms. Toilets were clogged. Restroom door doesn’t have a door stopper, so it slams throughout the whole restaurant. They need to shut down the restaurant, get trained in customer service and restroom maintenance, and then reopen. Any enlightened person that has been to Houston’s Chinatown will know the difference. Uncultured simpletons will love it.

I placed a takeout order online for some of the dumplings and wontons. It was ready on time, however I do have a severe nut allergy and had asked when I picked up the order. They use peanut oil for all of their sauces, which wasn’t mentioned on the website nor menu. One of the things I’d ordered had been the chili wontons, which had the sauce all over (which contained peanut oil). I brought it up and they looked at me with a blank stare, didn’t really resolve the issue, just threw in a soy sauce. Also, the sauce was in the same container as the food, (which one of my sauce containers had already spilt in the container when I checked my order in the car), so the sauces already cross-contaminate your order. I wouldn’t recommend if you have any dietary restrictions. My boyfriend said the food tasted well, at least, despite the restaurants ignorance.
