Natalie Donuts — Restaurant in Texas

9/8/2025- the last few weeks we have been stopping in to get sausage and cheese kolaches, cinnamon rolls and cinnamon twists and today stopped and got 2 small sausage kolaches, 2 cake and 1 twist. We have been very disappointed in every trip we have made in the last month. First, last 3 times the cinnamon rolls have been raw in the center, we have bought 1 at each visit. Then the kolaches, the cheese is ever so minimal, considerably less than what it was before. So I got small w/o cheese, the crust was super hard. I also changed and got 2 cake donuts- what a mistake. So crumbly that I could not put a fork in a piece of it, you could smell and taste the grease. The twists had the same grease smell. This was our go to place and now since we have tried over and over the last month, we will have to find a new place. PREVIOUS REVIEW I stopped in since it was on way home. I purchased 2 large sausage/cheese kolaches, 4 glazed doughnuts and 1 cinnamon roll. The sausage / cheese kolaches were outstanding! They were fresh, sausage was tasty but the bread was absolutely terrific. We will purchase these again even at $3.00 each. However we were disappointed in the doughnuts. While they were fresh, dough was ok but there was an off tasting to the whole doughnut. We are thinking old grease? Sane with cinnamon roll. Wife ordered donuts & kolaches on Doordash. I went to pick them up - the guy asked if I was a Doordash - I said yes and showed him the items ordered on my phone. I left and on the way home checked and discovered that 2 donuts were missing. Pulled a u-turn and headed back. When I asked the guy where the donuts were, he said they had no creme filling so they refunded those items. I did not know this and he should have stated that when I originally picked up the order. I stated he should give me a free donut in response to their poor service - he didn't want to - again restating that we were refunded for the missing items. I reiterated that they should do that as a good gesture in compensation for their lack of communication. He finally gave me a free donut but filled it only half-way with jelly. This is my second time coming to this new store and I was disappointed both times, I ordered 2 kolaches with cheese and both times there was no cheese. I called the first time and they did not do anything. This time I opened right in front of them and showed them there was no cheese. They acted like they didn't care. He said we get them already pre-made and the box said cheese so they have cheese. Really? I opened it and showed them. No refund, no sorry only "the box they come in has cheese so it has cheese" I will stick to shipleys donuts for future...
