Dont go to the place if you dont speak Spanish! Both bartenders did not speak English and when i ask to speak to someone that spoke English since she had no idea what i was saying (asking about things on the menu) her name was yvanna she got offended and didnt want to wait on me at all after that and was giving me dirty looks.
The owners son then came over and took my order but no one checked on me the entire time i was eating. I had to keep getting up to get what i needed and ask for things like a fork, napkins, ketchup and pepper and i tried to ask for lemons but she didnt understand me and apparantly they do not have lemons to give out just limes only which i dont understand that at all. I honestly should of just left after i saw how the bartender was towards me very rude.
I tip off of good service and the service was horrible and when i left and paid they immediatly looked at the tip i gave and laughed in my face as i was leaving. Lucky i gave any thing at all.
They also charge $3 for a 12 oz can of coke and have no fountain drinks to get for refills like most all restaurants do. I got the seafood plate it was ok nothing spectacular for the price of 16.95.
I dont recommend going to this place especially if you dont speak spanish prices are high also like a dozen half shell oysters...
Read moreThe atmosphere was very uncomfortable. We felt unwelcome. We were greeted immediately, but it was awkward. The waitresses do solely address the men as another woman mentioned, which is kind of off-putting, but I chalked it up to a cultural thing. I wasn't really upset by it but noticed. Unfortunately, I do not speak Spanish and the staff that approached us didn't speak English, so we couldn't order exactly what we wanted due to the language barrier. I ordered a quesadilla and they brought me one small quesadilla for $2.95. They had other sizes, but I couldn't explain the size I wanted to her. It was delicious though. My husband didn't enjoy his food because he couldn't translate that he didn't want sour cream and guacamole inside, so it was very soggy. It just didn't feel inclusive and that's fine if that's what they prefer. I just wish I had known before visiting. I was tense and couldn't...
Read moreI always love to come here for cocktail seafood, fried platters, or their whole fried fish. Food is always good and their michelada is tasty. They even sell the michelada mix. When they first opened they had a wonderful friendly waitress but they had since let her go. We always had good service except for this last time we came. Our waitress got our order wrong, didn’t understand what we ordered even though we pointed it out. When we told her it was incorrect she was upset and said she has to pay it out of her pocket. Her vibe was off the whole time we were there. Additionally when we received our check it was $74 but when she swiped and bought it back to sign it was over $100 (tip not included yet). We mentioned it and someone else it fixed for us. We will continue to come back but we wouldn’t ask for the same person who...
