BEEN A CUSTOMER OF SMOOTHIE KING FOR 5YRS. EVERYONE I WALK IN EVERYONE LOOKS UP & SAYS, 'WELCOME TO SMOOTHIE KING', NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE DOING. FRIDAY 4/1/24 THIS PLACE IS THE FAR WORSE SMOOTHIE KING I EVER BEEN TO. NO WELCOME, I STOOD THERE FOR ABOUT 5MNS. WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO LOOK UP, WATCHING THEM AND SEEING ONE OF THE YOUNG LADIES DRINK FROM HER CUP WHILE SHE WAS MAKING A SMOOTHIE. NEITHER LOOKED UP UNTIL I SAID, 'HELLO'. THE 2 YOUNG LADIES LOOKED AT ME WITH THEIR FACES TURN UP, AS IF I DISTURBING THEM, AND ONE SAID, WE'LL BE WITH YOU IN A MINUTE. I STEPPED BACK. THEN ANOTHER CX WALKED IN, NO GREETING, DIDN'T EVEN LOOK UP, THEN A 3RD CUSTOMER THE SAME. THE 2ND CX SAID, 'THEY DIDN'T GREET ME, HAVE YOU BEEN HELPED?. I EXPLAINED IT WASN'T JUST HIM. THE 3RD CX JOINED THE CONVERSATION STATING, 'YOUNG PEOPLE'. WE WAITED ANOTHER 10MNS. I ASKED FOR A MANAGER BY THEN THE 2ND & 3RD CX WERE GETTING UPSET. BOTH YOUNG LADIES STOPPED MAKING SMOOTHIES AND WENT TO THE BACK. THE MANAGER WALKED OUT WITH THE 2 LADIES AND ANOTHER YOUNG LADY. I ALONG WITH THE 2ND & 3RD CX EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPENED, & THE MANAGER KEPT MAKING EXCUSES SAYING THEY WERE BUSY, AND THEY HAD ONLINE ORDERS AND IN HOUSE ORDERS TO FILL, THAT'S WHY THEY DIDN'T SPEAK. NEVER APOLOGIZED JUST KEPT MAKING EXCUSES FOR THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDES. I UNDERSTOOD THEN WHY THEY HAD THE ATTITUDES THEY HAD. THE 3RD YOUNG FEMALE WHO CAME OUT THE BACK WITH THE MANAGER WAS THE ONLY ONE TO APOLOGIZE AND ASK TO ASSIST US, BY THEN IT WAS OTHER CX THAT CAME IN. I ASKED FOR THE MANAGER TO CALL THE OWNER BECAUSE SHE HAD THAT SAME LOOK AS IF WE WERE BOTHERING HER NOW, SHE STATED SHE COULDN'T GIVE OUT THEIR NAME, AND DIDNT HAVE THEIR PHONE NUMBER. WHICH I KNOW IS A LIE. I'VE SPOKE WITH OWNERS THROUGH OUT THE YRS WHEN THE EMPLOYEES WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE DOING THINGS CORRECTLY OR NOT SURE IF SOMETHING THEY NEEDED WAS OR WASN'T AVAILABLE... IF I COULD GIVE IT A 0 FOR CX SERVICE AND ATMOSPHERE THAT'S WHAT IT...
Read moreI’ve always loved this location it’s nearest to my home and most convenient for my wife and I, We’ve never had any issues up until this past Saturday. We visited this location late in the afternoon around 7:30pm upon our entry we were greeted with a less than enjoyable welcome from behind the counter, Ms. Christina didn’t seem enthused with our presents, She asked us what would we be having tonight in an annoyed manner. While we were ordering at the register she was leaning on the wall just staring at us waiting for our order with no type of help or information on the menu. Me being on a vegan diet cannot do dairy so as I was asking what my options were she could hardly tell me anything at all. Then when we did place our order she printed our ticket and walked over to her co-worker where the proceeded to point and snicker at our ticket like it was some type of under the table joke. Ms. Christina was very slow at making what we ordered and seemed thrilled to have to actually do something. There was no thank you come again as we were leaving or anything of that nature. I’ve visited this location several times and have never had any problems out of other employees except her. Which Is sad because we really like this location. I feel if the employee don’t want to work or do her job then she needs to quit or be let go. Me and my wife both noticed the snickering at our order and we’re both taken back and surprised by this employee’s rude demeanor. We will be returning, We just hope we don’t have to order with Ms....
Read moreI walked in and no one was in the front. Maybe a minute after, two girls walked out from the back. A light skinned girl took my children's and my order. But before we ordered, I could not remember what this drink I liked was called so my son and daughter ordered first and then, after I described what I wanted, she indicated what the drink was called. Great right? Yes in that aspect, but the whole time she seemed impatient. No smile, just frowned while I struggled to decide. The other girl did two of the drinks, went straight to work but also did not smile. I served for 10 years, I know the importance of tipping and customer service. I've always tipped well, even before it became an expectation for everything after covid. But come on, you are already getting paid for doing your job. Tips are earned, smile at your customers. Truely, I struggled when I decided not to tip. I hesitated. But I needed to follow my morals and do what I felt was correct. My son and I both enjoyed our smoothies and my daughters berry boal was delicious! I tasted it and thumbs up on that. For anyone who might be wondering why I didnt tip for the well done berry boal, I had not tasted it until I had already left. However as a person who has served others many years, I know tips are based on your customer service. Maybe im old schooled. Perhaps I will give it another try at this location, it's on my way home from the gym. Hopefully I wont have to drive a little further to another location when I crave...
