I visited today to pick up some food for my kids, and we first pulled to the stall after waiting for 5 minutes they told us they were no longer taking orders. I proceeded to go to the drive thru since I seen the line was moving. After waiting there for 15 minutes she told me once again they were not taking orders but the car in front of me had received their order. In that time 4 or 5 other cars pulled into the stalls and their food was brought out. I drove off but I seen that the car that behind me drove to the window to get their order. So since I have already been to 6 other fast food restaurants in the area( due to the Hurricane food is limited) I decided to give it another try. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, 4 other cars drove to the stall where food is brought out. The car in front of me received their order as well. Soon as I pull up to the window she states they are not taking orders. I decided to stay in the line because now I feel like it's some type of misinformation. I get to the window and I ask her if they were only taking drink orders and she stumbles and says well no we are taking orders but we kind of ran out of meat and everything( due to the Hurricane, which I can understand) but I asked her well you just told me that you weren't taking orders so are you or are you not? She stumbles once again. The manger ( who has no damn teeth) comes and says well we ran out of stuff. But I feel like if y'all not taking orders then stop taking orders already. She never asked me what my order was to begin with so I'm not understanding what's even going on. The GM manager (Justin) slammed the drive thru window in my face. I called to speak to another manager after I said what I had to say she hung in my face. I called back and she said that they were busy and that they were understaffed and giving me all these excuses so I'm asking her well is that room for you to treat your customers any kind of way,,, she said no and then hung up in my face. Pickles, ketchup, and mustard on my son's burger when we asked for just meat and cheese (he's a very good little boy, so he ate it anyway). My burger was cold and the lettuce was wilted. After a call from my wife, who wanted some cheddar peppers, I went through the drive through and was given attitude by the stoned sounding youngster who was taking my order because I was ending my conversation with my wife as I was pulling up to the speaker box. It took me maybe 3 seconds to get off of the phone before I said "I'm sorry about that" and began my order. Now I do understand how he might have perceived the 3 second wait as rude, seeing as how marijuana causes a person to become disassociated in time reference, but I assure you it was a minuscule amount of time. Anyhow, this fellow stays silent after I finish my 2 item order for at least 15 seconds and only replies with a stoned perturbed drawl, that sounded like someone made Tommy Chong upset with "you want a slush.... okay pull up". He didn't even repeat back my order or even attempt to. In fear of having angered his weed addled brain, and thus expecting a uncalled for retaliation of spit, or worse, in my cream slush; I decided I better not even take the food and asked that my order be cancelled as I drove by the window. After calling another sonic restaurant to see if standards of service had changed (they answered on the 2nd ring) I asked if they still put toys in kids meals? They said yes. I asked if it was company policy to allow their employees to be under the influence of a controlled substance while at work? They said no. I then attempted to call the restaurant I visited and they didn't answer after FOUR CALLS!!!! If the franchise owner of this Sonic sees this review, please get this location under control. Read moreWorst service I have ever had . There too many other places for me to spend my money in these trying times for me to accept extremely poor service . Today , at about 2: o’clock pm , I pulled into our local Sonic Drive Inn at Atascocita . I pushed the button to order and waited and waited and waited , while other cars came in and were waited on . The order screen indicated we would be waited on shortly , but that didn’t happen . I asked a waitress why the car beside us had been waited on and served when we hadn’t even placed an order yet . It had arrived only a minute or so before and was served immediately while we hadn’t even ordered . She said “ oh she works here “ When we were finally able to order , we were cut off before we had finished our order . We pushed the “order button “ again and after some delay was ask what we wanted. We told them we hadn’t finished our order and began to give the rest of our order . We were cut off again . We left and hope to never return . If Sonic is making enough money that they don’t need my business , so be it . I am sure no one in Sonic Corp will give one hoot in hell about this incident and that could be their downfall , customers pay their salaries and bills .
