Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Texas

TLDR: This place is great. Clean on the inside, staff are very friendly and food is pretty good considering it's fast food.

So lets talk about food...

I went all out on this order I wanted to try everything and give my honest opinion. This was a first visit for me and my husband. I ordered: the Philly cheese steak with all fixings large, 6 bone in wings (mango habanero), gourmet fries (nacho cheese and bacon) and a reg. Size drink (coke). My husband ordered the Bacon Philly cheese steak and a 4p boneless wing (reg buffalo sauce).

Cheese steaks were amazing. The large is a ft long, reg is 9" and small is 6". The peppers and onions are cooked with the steak so they are soft and caramelized on your sandwhich. The Bacon cheese steak was great as well with at least 4 slices of bacon.

Wings Bonein comes out to about 1.60 per wing. I got a 6 at 9.99 with one saucing. Personally the sauce was weak (mango habanero) but these wings are so good. Cooked to perfection. The boneless wings were even better. Although many ppl agree it's just a nugget these were actually better than the bone in. I will order these instead next time.

Fries It's going to be a hard pass on the gourmet fries. They simply have nacho cheese and bacon bits sprinkled on top. It didn't taste like fresh bacon it seemed more like the Bacon crumbles you but on a salad. For the price of the fries this wasn't it.

Price This is the big one. I'm going to say, first I ordered way to much food. A normal order would be about $15 per person. I spent $51. And while that is quiet a lot it was worth it. My meal alone was about 30 bucks. But my husband only had a drink, sandwhich and 4 boneless wings and his meal was 20. So this gets $$ for price as it should be.

My husband and I used a big Uber Eats coupon on this place today to try it out for the first time. We were delighted to find that it was delicious! My husband ordered the regular cheesesteak and I ordered the bacon 3 cheesesteak. The lettuce and tomatoes were crisp and fresh, the meat was high quality (the bacon, too, I’m always worried when I order bacon the first time somewhere that it won’t be worth it), and the bread held together for what I thought would end up being an extremely messy sandwich. The steak fries were good too – didn’t need any added salt or pepper for our tastes, and their ketchup was really good as well. For those ordering for the first time, a large fry is quite large with a regular sandwich – you can probably split one large fry between two people. We’re really happy we used that coupon to discover this place, because next time we want cheesesteaks (or cheese sticks, or wings!) we’ll definitely be...

I moved here from Mississippi & I must say this is the friendliest Charley’s I’ve ever been too! Madison L. Is such a sweetheart I always get lucky enough to have her check me out or hand me my pick up order & she’s ALWAYS smiling & triple checking to make sure my order is correct before I arrive . Today I set my order to be picked up for 9:30 but had car problems & didn’t make it until 9:59 on the head! Madison L was super positive & still proceeded to hand me my order with a smile & energetic . The rest of the staff behind her didn’t rush me either & they even were willing to wait until I arrived to hand me my order.
