I placed a catering order from here yesterday for today afternoon. Usually a day’s notice is good enough for a small to medium order elsewhere.
I submitted my payment and got an email confirmation that the order was received.
I arrived at the location today at 11:30 to pick up and saw a sign on one of the doors that was a bit rumpled that said “due to the power outage, we will open at 4pm”. I thought perhaps it’s an old sign from the storm a few days ago, so I should try the main door. Main door was locked and had the same sign.
I was livid! It was less than 30 minutes remaining to get the food to the destination where a bunch of hungry people were waiting. I tried calling the phone line a few times but nobody answered and answering machine was not enabled. Peering inside, I saw lights, TV and other electrical devices powered on. So, power was available at this location!!
I had to rush elsewhere and walked into Jersey Mike’s for a rush order.

I called the restaurant and the manager insisted on taking my name and putting my information in a book versus giving me a refund. She told me to return anytime and they would make my order completely over. Well, I decided to, go back on December 22 and of course my name was not in the book. No one had any information as if my order didn’t exist. Thankfully, I had the order on my email and there was a gentleman there by the name of Melvin who took excellent care of me I would’ve given five stars except for the fact that I had to come inside and they didn’t have my information in the book. But I just want to say I really appreciate Melvin taking care of my order and making things right we need more people like that in the world! I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern and complaint regarding the portion sizes at one of your locations. Recently, I visited the establishment, and I noticed that the amount of food served was surprisingly small. I received only a few pieces of chicken for my entrée, and the side portion was minimal as well.
The employee who assisted me, whose name I believe was Amalya, could benefit from some additional training on portion sizes. I understand that maintaining quality and consistency across locations can be challenging, but I believe it is essential for customers to receive a satisfactory amount of food for their money.
